This book had an interesting plot and great writing but the characters really threw me off. Some of them were deep and complex while others were complete caricatures. I don't know if this juxtaposition was intentional but it didn't really add to the story.
This book was... strange to say at least. It had a very unconventional plot but was interesting. I wish the we got more closure at the ending though. It would've made me feel less confused.
This book is written in such a beautiful way, its hard not to like. Its whimsical and really transports you to a different place. I wish the plot was more clear though, at some point the conflict of this novel got lost in the descriptions of the circus. But definitely read for the prose.

I liked this book a lot. Having 17 different authors write it made each character have more definition. But a big problem I had with this was I couldn't really make my own opinion on Kirby. It seemed that the authors were really pushing one sort of image. Overall a great book though.
This book starts as a nice thrilling contemporary novel and I was pretty immersed in all of it. Then the ending happened and I lost all interest. The characters were nice, the novel was well written, but the ending just made me not want to recommend it to anyone.
I found this novel to be sort of anticlimactic. The characters were also sort of one sided. I had heard so many good things but it didn't seem any better than your average contemporary YA romance.
