Somewhat predictable, but a fun and easy read.

An unlikable protagonist, coupled with a lack of narrative detail.

Quirky, with the usual ups and downs of an anthology.

I liked the dual-time line, but both of the sisters were very annoying, and not endearing in any way.

Wholly disappointing as far as novelizations go. While it does include some information that the movie didn't quite cover, character motivation was definitely lacking. I'm not sure if that's because we still have two more movies to explore things (you know, like Rey) or if it's just shoddy writing. Either way, not a happy camper.

Better than TFA novelization, but still left some plot holes. Could have used more Wedge.
