Thea and Gavin Scott are happily married, or so Gavin thought, but one night after a romantic evening together, Thea admits that she has been faking her O’s (if you know what I mean?) a big argument ensues and Gavin walks out.

After calming himself down and coming to his senses, Gavin goes back home, but Thea has decided enough is enough and she wants a divorce as she hasn’t been happy now for a while.

Gavin is rightly devastated and moves his things out and promptly goes to ‘find himself’ at the bottom of a bottle.

But Gavin’s friends are not having any of it, and decide to allow him into their inner sanctum i.e. the Bromance Book Club.

The premise of the club is quite simple, they get a romance book (Historical fiction to be precise) and learn how to be a better man, and Gavin jumps into this with hilarious results.

There was so many lines in this that made me laugh out loud, especially with the 3rd narrator in the book being actually *from* the book i.e. The Duke in Gavin’s head giving him tips.

Gavin getting a “Book Boner” was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard Hahaha

If you can grab this one I would definitely recommend the audiobook, it was so much fun to listen to

Narration was by Andrew Eiden and Maxwell Caulfield and they did such a brilliant job, I laughed out loud so many times.

Grab it if you can

Wish, ok I have to think about this one and come back with my review

Meet Joanne Haynes, she is happily married with 4 kids and a gorgeous husband.

Or…

Meet Joanne, she is a bestselling author whose books have been sold all over the world, especially in Asia.

Or…

Meet Joanne, she is a single mother and trying her best to make ends meet, working and trying to provide for her and her baby daughter.

Just one of these could be true, or maybe they’re not, maybe none of them are at all, maybe Joanne isn’t really Joanne!

It is difficult to go into too much detail with this book because otherwise it will spoil the story, lets just say that everything is not quite as it seems.

I really enjoyed this story and how it unravelled, “Joanne” is a very troubled woman and it really showed in the story the further it went on, it also had the C J Skuse touch with the hilarious one liners and witty banter.
The story is in 2 parts and very cleverly reveals the plot and why Joanne is how she is, and what made her that way.

Definitely something you should pick up if you can.

Enjoy

**THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY FOR MY COPY OF THIS BOOK

Such a good read, I sat on the sofa and finished the whole thing in one sitting, I nearly forgot to eat!

Following Katie, a "super recogniser" who used to work for the police, we learn that she has been in a car accident, that may have damaged her ability to recognise faces like she used to.

Until one day, she looks at her husband Rob, and realises that it isn't him at all, it is an impostor, or is it? She doesn't really know, and the more she tries to work out if it is her or her brain injury, the more crazy she starts to sound to herself, and everyone around her.

But could it be true? Could Rob be someone else? And if he is, how has it happened, and why?

A great thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Welcome to the world of Tarryn Fisher, pull up a chair, pack enough WTF in your suitcase to last you the journey, you’ll need it!!

It’s difficult to delve too much into this story without giving away spoilers, even though I want to shout OMG JUST WAIT TILL YOU GET TO THIS BIT!

Meet Thursday,

Thursday is happily married to Seth, he is a hard working businessman, and travels all over the country, so she really only gets to see him once a week, ironically on Thursday as he works away from home.

Except Seth isn’t staying in hotels when he is working away, oh no, he is visiting and staying with each of his wives! Yep you heard right, he also has Monday and Tuesday to visit on his little trips too.

You see, Seth (and his wives) are polygamists, he is married to 3 women at once, and Thursday tries her best to be happy with this situation, she makes sure that she is the ‘Best Wife’ by being that lovely old quote by Jerry Hall “You must be a maid in the living room, a cook in the kitchen and a whore in the bedroom.”
