So I really wanted to like this one, no LOVE it!!

But...alas......

Now I loved the Until series before (no really, I 5 starred the shit out of the 1st one) but this book has issues, I shall be touching on these issues 1 by tiiiiiny one!!

1. The time line!

description

Now, this book is about the CHILDREN of the original cast right?? correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not......I double checked!

Asher and November (from the 1st book) have since had 4 children, all girls, all called months of the year (sigh)

Anyway in the book [b:Until Nico|18781543|Until Nico (Until, #4)|Aurora Rose Reynolds|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1398781346s/18781543.jpg|26694387] we met up with Asher and November and their brood of kids, and they were exactly that KIDS, still babies, which means now with July being 26 years old a looong time has passed, is this mentioned I hear you ask, well dear read the answer to that is......no, not once EVER.

It is not 2025 or whatever, there are no flying cars, nor as it happens is there anything new, July rides a crappy motorbike and Wes rides some sort of Harley thing, we are just supposed to not remember that.

2 . Wes

description

Now look, lurve an alpha male in a book, sheesh I've even hunted them out to read, but Wes is a law unto himself.

After tasering Wes (yep you read that right) July meets his "mint ice cream eyes" and notices his hotness, okay okay I can go with that, I've known people that were complete dicks, but still hot to look at.
He proceeds to call her a bitch (fair enough she did just taser him!) but this goes on AND ON!!

Anyway they get it on (obviously) and he turns into an alpha douche, walking into her work place and just shutting the door and demanding she takes off her clothes to bend he over the table to "spank her ass" as he was pissed with her about something, it's not an "oh my god that's hot" way, although he does give her a mind blowing orgasm (again) ya know, so who am I to complain??

3. July

description

Now I'm not saying that July is a pushover, but after a week or so a of seeing Wes he has a key do her house, okay moving a little fast I hear you say?? Yes you would think that, however she DIDN'T GIVE HIM THE KEY HE STOLE IT, well took it from her keyring actually, she asked him, mentioned that he wasn't given it, he proceeded to use jedi fucking mind tricks on her avoiding the question, and that was it!
After that he pretty much moves all of his shit in the house and she's fine with it!

4. July's Super Vagina

description

I mean this girl must have a Vag of steel the amount of times it gets pounded, I'm sure she's probably got a bag of frozen peas shoved down her pants when Wes leaves her alone (which is very rare)

Also the whole "Who's pussy is this, who do these perfect tits belong to"? questions make me a little ikky, who says that in real life? If a man ever said that to me I'd be like....

description

Anywhooo, the point to this overly long rant is, I didn't like it, I'm disappointed and I'm pissed! !

Oh yes I forgot

5. Plot Twist

At 89% ........Are you kidding me, really, was I expecting it??

Was it a surprise???

Was I shocked??

I think I just actually fell I love with a book.

*WARNING - TRIANGLE - LUURRVVEE TRIANGLE*

We are going to get married and have little book babies together and pollute the world with the offspring of this mind fu@k of a book.

Be still my beating heart, I have 2 new book boyfriends and I think they are going to take some beating ♡♡♡♡

What can I say about this book but WOW
It was a bumpy ride for 80% of the time, the other 20% well that was just HOT!
We have Amber who has had a fu*ked up life, she has been moved from foster home to foster home, she is finally with parents who she loves.
New home = new school, this is where we first meet Ryder when she literally bumps into him, after that we then meet Brock who again she is very drawn to and happens to be Ryders best friend.
With lots of sexual tension between the 3 of them this story moves into the fast lane, and then takes over every car on the road!
With the mother of all cliffhangers I can't wait to read the next book!

**Shouting in an angry Mom voice**

COLLEEN HOOVER, TARRYN FISHER!!!!

YOU GET DOWN THESE STAIRS RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADIES AND FINISH YOUR HOMEWORK.......

**walks off mumbling to herself **

Oohh you are in so much trouble if you don't, JUST WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME!!!!!!!

So my little Chickadee friends gave me some recommendations for PNR books as I really can't seem to get into them at all.

I was firstly recommended the EIT series which I devoured and this one so I thought what the hell and tried it.

Usually any synopsis with the word vampire in it gets a huge wide berth from me, but I sucked it up (see what I did there?) and pulled up my big girl vampire panties and dived in.............AND LOVED IT!!!!

I've dived headfirst into this series and Cat & Bones have made it into one of my favourite couples!!

WTF did I just read.........I need to sit and think a while before reviewing this one!!

Also need to pop off and change my profile settings in my Facebook/Twitter/Emails etc.

How far would you go to protect one of your children?

This is the question in this heartbreaking book.

Jude has it all, a perfect family, a perfect house, a perfect life.
Her kids are popular at school (well one of them, the other pretends she is) and everything is rosy.

Jude is the perfect mother to twins Zach and Mia and they love her for it, everything she does is for them.

Mia is unhappy though, she doesn't fit in at school and has no friends, that is until one day, a girl called Lexi sits next to her and begins to talk to her, they then become inseparable best friends.
This concerns Jude as Lexi comes from the wrong side of the tracks, but gives Lexi the benefit of the doubt and soon she becomes an addition to their perfect family.

After a stupid mistake is made one night the family's life is never the same again and Lexi is pushed out of the families embrace.

I loved this story and was moved to tears on many occasions, it has friendship, love, loss and fear in bucket loads.

A definite recommendation from me!

Book: Ready Player One

Review

Wow I loved this book.

If you fancy rooting in the back of your closet and finding your old leg warmers, jelly shoes, ra-ra skirts and different colored illuminous socks, then this is the book for you.

With references throughout to the 80's from movies to music and beyond, this book brought out my inner nerd, and I didn't even know I had one.

Anyway I'd love to chat, but I'm just sticking on my Wham 12" vinal and crimping my hair........everyone sing after me, "Club Tropicana drinks are freeeeeeeee! !! "

You don't need any blurb, go on and give it a try ......you might like it.

5☆

Random things I picked up while listening to this book.

1. If you are going to get a narrator (or 2) to read your book, and that book has an accent, in this case Scottish, please make sure that they both research the accent 1st before attempting it!!
If this is difficult then don't use them, or call Robert Petkoff for some lessons on how to do it properly!!

2. Here in the UK kids do not have an "allowance" we call it Pocket Money, we also do not have Gatorade so it would be difficult to pick one up from the local shop!!

3. Slang words should not be used if you do not know what they mean, while talking to the barman in Scotland it was mentioned that the rugby team were playing the "Dogs Bollocks" since Lauchlain left, this means they were actually playing BETTER not worse, "Dogs Bollocks" means great/brilliant/excellent, e.g. This sandwich is the dogs bollocks, or we went to watch a film (not movie) last night and it was the dogs bollocks.

4. You absolutely CAN NOT pick up a random dog in the USA and fly them over to the UK and expect to be able to just take them home with you, why?? HELLO RABIES! !!
If you bring an animal from overseas, (especially dogs) to the UK they go into quarantine for 6 OR 7 MONTHS before they are allowed into the country.

Here endeth my lesson, I shall climb off of my box of soap!

The moral of the story ..........research research research!!

The longest 15hrs of my life!
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm afraid this book was a huge fail for me, I love the synopsis and the fact the that it was a long friendship that turned into love.

The storyline however was just too much, there was way too many stories going on in one book.

Look, we all have our pet names for people, hell I even call my other half "chick" but throughout the whole book????really????

"Riley Bear" (eye roll) is our MC, her and Clay have been best friends since they were knee high, their parents even think that they will eventually end up together living happily ever after, this is probably why at 16 Riley Bears parents allow her to have Clay stay overnight once a week to watch movies, sleeping in the same bed may I add!!!?????

I mean come on, parents of 16yr old daughters would not allow this, especially with an 18 year old boy with raging hormones, are they stupid or what??

The thing is Clay is not like other boys, oh no, he is a perfect gentleman and treats Riley Bear with the utmost respect (apart from one time copping a feel) even telling his friends to leave her alone!

Oh and what is up with the hickeys ?? Nobody does that NOBODY!!!

The list kinda goes on and on for this book and I feel terrible giving a book a bad review, but I said I would be honest so there you are ;○)

One story morphs into another story, Riley has the most trustworthy parents in the universe, even giving her and Clay $1000 to go gambling, in Vegas, underage! (oh yeah and getting married!) After scoring some fake id's (they just give them away in the US don't ya know) they win twelvety million squillion dollars at the casino and just walk on out with it, without even flashing their sparkly fake id's and pop off to get wed!

Then we have the stalker Blake (eye roll) Then the accident with the miraculous recovery (eye roll)
Riley Bear telling Clays parents that they basically weren't allowed into the hospital room to see their own son on deaths door, and of course the sweet sacherine ending.

After reading it I wanted to go and read some good old fashioned smut to cleanse my pallet! .

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Steamy Stars

Dear lord, please forgive me, for i have sinned, I have never been to confession, but if i could meet up with Father Bell there, i just might well do 😇

I originally read this book a year or so ago, but it didn't seem to have the impact that the audio book had!!

Lets just get to the narrators, Jacob Morgan.

Now, as you may (or may not) already know, Jacob is a psudonym used by another famous narrator, i won't blab about it here because he obviously uses it for a reason, but his voice literally turns me into goo, a big puddle of goo 🔥

Elena Wolfe, again is a psudonym for another fantastic narrator, both of these people are 2 of my absolute favourites, her male voice is one of the sexiest around in my opinion, and teamed together with Sierra Simone's writing I am certainly invested in this pair!

The Story

Sierra Simone is certainly the Queen of sexy stories, if you haven't tried her out then I would definitely recommend her.

**Fair Warning, this is not a book to be reading if you are of the religious variety, it is something that will probably have you going to confession for reading it!**

Tyler Bell is handsome, 29 years old and is a Priest he has been for three years. Before that he was a normal everyday man, he's been to college and been around the block if you know what I mean?

There are reasons for him becoming a priest but spoilers people!

Poppy Danforth comes to confession one day, sits in the booth, and confesses her sins as any normal person does.
She comes from a privileged background, but after something happens she decides to give that life up, again spoilers people!

Her confessions are shall we say, a little dark, this intrigues Father Bell and he starts to get a little obsessed with her.

This book is sexy, very very sexy (Sierra Simone you dirty dirty girl 😘), however it isn't all about the sex!
There a brilliant story within the pages, you have to watch as Father Bell struggles with his beliefs, and it is sometimes really sad to read.

This little story will set your Kindle on fire, if you are listening to the audio (highly recommended by the way) then make sure you have those earbuds firmly in!
