After going to Vegas for a friend’s bachelor party and drinking more than your average village, Cal wakes up with the mother of all hangovers!
He also seems to be naked..........and not alone!!!
Unfortunately it also isn't his wife that is naked in the room with him, Cal must decide what to do!
He actually is very honest and instead of the usual “what happens in Vegas” straight away tells his wife, who subsequently dumps him for cheating and asks for a divorce.
All of Cal’s friends (after telling him what an idiot he is) know that he never would have done anything to jeopardise his relationship with Shelly, he is head over heels in love with her and have to watch as he sinks lower and lower when he ends up having to sleep on a friends couch after being thrown out of his home.
After apologising over and over again to Shelly, Cal refuses to give her a divorce until she allows him 8 dates (weeks) to prove to her that their marriage is worth keeping and how much he loves her, and to gain her trust back.
I was pleasantly surprised with this book as cheating is not something that I take lightly yet I was quietly rooting for Cal to woo Shelly back.
Narration was excellent, I didn’t feel a need to speed up/ slow down the story and I could clearly distinguish all of the voices.
A great 4 star read.

Oh Dex, Dex, Dex, you complicated gorgeous man!
This book is entirely in Dex's pov and explains what happened to him after Perry walked out on him.
It was great that Rebecca was in this and we got to see more of her, and also showed what a great friend she is to Dex.
I really loved being in Dex's head in this book, loved all of his one liners and have highlighted a few to keep for a rainy day (I can't wait till I can call someone Twatwaffle or Metro Von Dickfucker )

I love these books so much!
JLA just has a way of sucking you in and making you care so much about the characters.
Roxy works in Mona's bar (owned by Jax from book #3) she has a best friend called Charlie, he is now in a care hospital after a horrific accident (caused by a homophobic douchecanoe ) he doesn't even know when she is in the same room with him anymore, he hasn't spoken for 6 years, and yet every week Roxy visits him and takes one of her painting for him.
Painting is Roxys life and she is brilliant at it, there is one thing, one person that she paints more than anything else......Reese Anders!
She has been in love with him since she was 15 and it has never faded, they even got together once, but he was very drunk and passed out before they did the deed.
After waking up in the morning and telling her that he regretted having sex with her, she doesn't mention the fact that they didn't actually get that far and hasn't spoken to him since!
This book had it all, angst in spades, hawt sex and a bit of a thriller to boot, I highly recommend this series.

This was an ok book, some of it was quite funny and made me laugh out loud but really it was just a fun fluffy read.
Janie Morris is a bit of a quirky girl, she opens her mouth and facts figures and useless information comes spewing out!
She has just found out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her (i mean who leaves a condom packet in their pocket!)she then gets promptly fired from her job, and all this in the morning that she meets Sir McHotpants !!
Quinn aka McHotpants seems to making a beeline for her, but she doesn't know why?

I'm so glad that I read this one and the next in the series instead of jumping straight into Night Huntress #5.
This book tells the story in between and we finally get to hear Spades story and how he ends up with Denise, and also how she ends up being a shapeshifter.
Also the usual gang are there, with some extra Vlad for some spice.
I'm loving all of these books and I'm so glad I wasbullied recommended to read them by my little Chickadees, thanks girlies ♡♡

This book probably need to be read quite close to the 1st as there is no real recap from it and it just dives right on in there so it was slightly confusing for me, luckily I was reading as a buddy read so we were able to remind ourselves on things/people.
The colours got quite confusing too at the beginning however by the time I had got a third into the book I was hooked again.
I can't wait until the 3rd book to find out what the hell went on and how Iris is going to be able to fix this mess she has gotten herself into!
