Oh how I ♡ this series!!!
I have literally no idea how to review this book.
The 3rd and last book in the Chaos Walking trilogy, if you haven't read this series then you HAVE to add it to your TBR list
...and you HAVE to listen to it on audio, it is amazing.
Okay so the book picks up EXACTLY where book 2 ends, the Mayor/President has declared war on the Spackle and boy they are up for some war.
Todd and Voila have been separated, and Mistress Cole is still looking out for revenge for The Answer.
There were a lot of OMG moments on the book, Patrick Ness doesn't make this book into a 3rd crappie sequel, oh no, he keeps you on the edge of your seat until the last possible second, and I ♡'d It !!

This was a perfect end to a perfect series ♡♡♡
When i first got the book i was like .......

But then I realised.....This is the end!!
So it's time to say goodbye to one of my favourite series I've ever read, it is a very sad day!.
Goodbye my friends, it has been an absolute pleasure, and thank you for letting me into your little world for a while.
Thank you Katy and Daemon for an emotional roller coaster of a ride, I don't regret a single thing!
I'm sure that it won't be long till I hold the 1st book back in my hand and come and visit you again sometime.
Thank you Jennifer Armentrout ♡
And thank you for the extra little epilogue on your website, the feels came right back after reading that!

This was a very good read, and very emotional at times.
Jane is trying to come to terms with the death of her daughter Melody, who died from an overdose.
She is obsessed with re tracing Melodys life as she lost contact with her, so she starts by going back to where she lived/worked and talk to some of her friends.
While she is doing this she bumps into a homeless guitar player who knew her daughter, she takes him home with her and offers him a job as a gardener to make him stay so that she can get information from him.
While he is staying with Jane, she finds herself being more and more attracted to him, however he is 15 years younger than him, and anyway he used to be Melody's boyfriend so that would be weird!
But Jane doesn't realise that the attraction is mutual.
Caleb was very sweet (a little sickly sweet sometimes) and attentive to Jane and I also loved Grace her best friend.
A good 4☆ read, and I will definitely be reading the 2nd book to find out what happens to Jane and Caleb.

Love, love, LOVE this series.
I actually prefered this book to the 1st, so I have really high hopes for the 3rd book.
The MC in this book is Mal - the drummer from Stagedive.
He is sitting on the balcony at a party drinking a beer when a girl comes out and has a conversation on the phone to her friend. Meet Anne!
Anne has been done over by her room mate, big time, she has moved out and took her furniture AND money and disappeared.
Anne doesn't have the money to pay for her flat, and everything else going on in her life (her mum is sick) so she decides that she will give up the flat and move back home............she then meets Mal.
Mal decides that it would be best all round for him to just turn up unannounced and move into her apartment with her, oh and for her to pretend that they are seeing each other.
With hilarious results and a lovely story Mal and his Pumpkin embark on a beautiful friendship.
Can't wait to read the next in the series.
A 6♡ book for me.

Actual rating 2•5 ☆
3rd book of the breathing series.
#1 Loved it......mahoosive cliffhanger brought book#2 immediately
#2 Hmm didn't love it so much, it was okay but still left a lot of questions unanswered.
#3 12 hours of absolutely NOTHING!!!
This is the book in whole, broken into the pieces that actually matter.
Beginning... Emma being sad/guilty....friends looking out for her
...2 hours later, still sad...friends still there
...3 hrs later ....still sad.......
4 hrs.....banging a hot guy that really cares about her, but still unhappy.....
5 hrs oh the guilt.......
6 hrs .....I'm a bad person, Here comes Evan ....angst angst .....
7 hrs Emma - all of my friends rally round me to do EVERYTHING for me, to protect me from getting hurt again by Evan!
Continue this for another 3 hours....
Hour 11 includes Jonathan, Evan, a little crappy sex and a secret.
That's it folks it literally was Emma moaning about herself and how guilty she was about something and how Evan hurt her so much blah blah blahhhhh
SHE left HIM in book 2 Evan didn't do anything wrong, he was just a nice guy in a shitty situation, any girl would have been happy with him but she just used him and Sara.
Well said Evan, now go and get yourself a proper girlfriend that at least smiles once in a while.
A very disappointing 2•5 ☆

‘You’ve worn guilt like an iron mask, welded to you, because you’re convinced that you’re to blame for what happens to everyone else.
You martyr yourself for things you’re not responsible for. And you end up hurting the people you care about because you push them away, believing you’re protecting them.’ Emma remained quiet.
‘You can’t continue to carry that guilt any more. You can’t keep shutting everyone out. That’s not living, Emma.’

Well I was looking forward to the 2nd instalment of the Chaos walking trilogy a little bit too much me thinks…….happy dance.
This book picks up pretty much exactly where the last book left off…. You remember the mahoosive cliffhanger ???
Todd is back, and so is Viola YIPPEE …….. unfortunately though as much as I was hoping for a minor miracle of Ness alas …No Manchee…Sob!! (Do NOT read if you haven’t read the 1st book)
This time the book is told from Todds and Viola POV which I loved as we finally see Viola as opposed to looking at her though Todds eyes.
Todd and Viola get separated for most of this book and go to completely different sides of the coin, one to war and the other working for a tyrant.
There is a baddie McBaddie in this book in the shape ofMayor President Prentice, who is a bad mo-fo, he is a nasty nasty man who I have no doubt will make an appearance again in the next book.
A stonking 5 star read

Oh Daemon Black why oh why oh why are you just in a book and not real?!?!
**stamping and rolling on the floor "IT'S JUST NOT FAIR"**
So after the mahoosive cliff hanger that was Opal, Daemon and the gang are back YAY!
The last time we saw Katy she was being held by the D.O.D and being separated from Daemon. .....sob!
She has now been moved to the infamous Area 51 and is being interrogated by Daedalus.
Now, in this book it answers a lot of questions about who, what and why they are all here.
There is plenty of sexual tension as usual between Katy and Daemon and boy it is HOT!
What makes this book different to the others is that we also hear from Daemons POV, and that ladies is Ahhhh mazing! (Sing that bit!!)
We finally get to hear, as if we didn't know already about how he feels about Katy aka Kitten.
Katy is even more kickass than before, she doesn't hold back at all.
You also get some shockers, some different hybrids and a pregnancy! !!
All in all a cracker again from Miss Armentrout and I can't wait for the next installment of Daemon *swoon*

WOAH! !!!!!!!!! 6 Stars ♡
Hang on there a minute.......
This book was sooo good I can't explain.
This has loads of good stuff in it including spacemen and a talking dog!! I know right, sounds like a complete disaster but it works
Todd is a young boy, he will be a man soon, he is twelve years and twelve months old, and will be 13 and a man in one months time.
Todd and every other man in Prentistown is plagued by 'the noise' where everyone can hear your thoughts, EVERY thought!
There are no women as they all died when they caught the virus when they landed on the new world.
The virus was spread by the Spackle, the alien race that lived there before and who they killed in the war, there is none left.
Todd has a dog called Manchee who is hands down the best character ever, as he is a talking dog!!
When the men caught the noise virus, all of the animals also started to talk, I mean really talk not just woof woof.
It reminded me of Doug from Disneys UP, (I even googled it to see if the book was written after, and guess what....it was BEFORE!)
The 1st paragraph is the funniest ever....
Classic!
Todd finds a secret that he wasn't supposed to and had to run away from the town, he now has to leave where he grew up and everything he knows and find his way, however he doesn't know where he is going or what he is running from.
All he has is a map and a book from his mother....trouble is, he can't read.
The audio was brilliant, very funny when the dog was talking and all of the characters were well narrated, it even had a little singing in it.
A fab read with a huge cliffhanger at the end, I shall definitely be reading the rest of the series and will be visiting audible immediately after writing this review.

The first thing you find out when yer dog learns to talk is that dogs don’t got nothing much to say. About anything.
“Need a poo, Todd.”
“Shut up, Manchee.”
“Poo. Poo, Todd.”
“I said shut it.”

Sooo after the mahoosive cliff hanger that was from [book:Reason to Breathe] I was eager to plug in and listen to book 2.
Now Emma has escaped from her aunts clutches she is living with her best friend Sara although she still has the scars and the smashed ankle to remind her of that last awful night.
Emma decides that now would be a good time to get to know her mother and promptly decides to move in with her.......WRONG DECISION!
Although in the previous book her mother seemed to have put the drinking behind her, unfortunately it has escalated into her being a full blown alcoholic, partying till all hours and bringing back a different man every night, one of these men is Jonathan.
Emma and Evan are still on the love train but haven't taken the step off of the platform yet, if you know what I mean!
Emma for some unknown reason keeps her mother's drinking a secret from Sara and Evan but confides in Jonathan and they strike up a secret friendship, meeting and calling each other in the middle of the night to discuss their nightmares.
I started to get really annoyed with Emma by the end of the book though as she seemed to want to fix everyone without sorting out her own shit first!
She tramples all over Evans heart as she doesn't trust him enough to share her secrets about her past and tells them all to a random bloke that her mother's been shagging!
I will be reading book 3 but I'm not in such a rush to do so.
