Mickey's story.
I love the fact that KA has written a book about an older couple and also makes it just as hot as her others.

Oohh I think all of you thriller lovers are going to LOVE this one!!
Hello from a surprisingly sunny UK, the sun is out, and because it doesn’t happen very often, we don’t know what to do with ourselves LOL.
So here I am to bring you a review for this little cracker of a thriller, that will keep you on the edge of your seat, right until the very end!
Why Did You Pick It Up Vicci?
Well, I was doing my usual picking-too-many-to-read-and-review-in-time choices on NetGalley (As you do!) and I read the blurb to this one, and I just couldn’t pass it by, it sounded fantastic, and just up my street.
𝔻𝕠𝕟’𝕥 𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕘𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖!!
Let’s play a game of “Would you rather” …….
Would you rather be a victim, or an abuser?
What if you had to be both?
This is what Rachel is dealing with. After dropping her daughter off at the bus stop, as she does every morning, she gets a call from a woman, the woman explains that she has kidnapped her daughter Kylie and she will only get her back by following just a few simple rules, if these rules are not followed, she will kill her.
1. No authorities, and no police!
2. Pay a ransom…….. a staple in a kidnapping right?
3. Kidnap a child…….are you intrigued now?
4. Call that child’s parents and give them the same information that you are getting right now.
5. Hold that kidnapped child somewhere, until the parents of the child have paid the ransom, and also kidnapped another child…….I can see your eyebrows raising!
6. Until all of the above have been completed, Kylie will be held.
7. And here is the kicker!! – After Rachel has followed the rules above, the child of the woman on the phone will be released!
And so on, and so on…
Welcome friends, to The Chain
You see, what is so clever about this book, is that it plays on the “what would you do for your child” part of you, and because you are there with Rachel all of the way, it makes you think ‘what would I do’?
Would I do anything to protect my child? Abso-bloody-lutely, but the thought of putting another parent through the same trauma as you are going through right now is just heartbreaking. And you know that when you get told they will kill your child, you believe them, because their own child is at risk too!
You’ll never look at one of those silly chain letters again!!
Grab this one when it is released on 9th July
You’re Welcome 😉

This was such a fun read, it follows the main character Teagan, who has Psychokinesis or PK for short, so she can indeed move shit with her mind.
Tegan works for the Government, who send her on secret missions, simply because she is able to do things that other people can’t.
But all in all Tegan is a young girl, she thinks her abilities are cool, but that’s really about it, she wants to be able to drink beer and have a good time, she really isn’t that bothered about working for the Government, but she does know what will happen to her if anyone ever found out what she can do, so she does the bare minimum, much to her teams frustration.
Tegan’s real passion, is food, and not any old food, she really wants to own a restaurant, and her dream is to eat in every swanky place she can to get ideas for this, but this is just a pipe-dream.
The last job that she took on with her team didn’t go according to plan, and now a body has turned up, but he could only have been killed with powers the same as Tegan’s, she is adamant that she didn’t do it, but her team-mates are not so sure, so she is given 24 hours to prove her innocence before she is reported.
A really fun read, I loved Tegan, she was funny and sometimes really really stupid, but i think that made her more likeable.
A crazy ride that drops you right in the centre of it on the first page, you will never get bored with this story, some great characters and a bit of a cliffhanger that makes you think that book 2 will probably be coming your way soon!
**Many thanks to Orion Books and Netgalley for my copy of this book**

I really enjoyed this twisty little thriller, it had just enough of “is it him or her” vibe to it to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Louisa is about to turn 40 and is a brand new mother, her little Noah was an unexpected surprise but she loves him fiercely, even though she is completely exhausted.
Louisa seems to have forgotten what it was like to be a new mother, considering her daughter is now a teenager, and all of the sleep deprivation seems to be taking a toll on her, she is forgetting things and huge parts of her day seem to go by without her even noticing.
It gets to the point where she even starts to forget to feed the baby!
Her best friend Tiff thinks she needs a bit of a pick-me-up, and arranges a surprise 40th birthday party for Louisa, because she doesn’t speak much about her past Tiff is at a bit of a loss on who to invite, so she goes to the place where all your friends are, Facebook, and promptly invites all of her old school friends.
And who should turn up out of the woodwork but Oliver, Louisa’s old boyfriend and his new wife! He is super happy to see Louisa, until he turns up at her house the next day to tell her that his wife is missing!
With twists and turns at every corner, you will be wondering who is telling the truth, and what secrets they are hiding.
With thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an eARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book.
The narration was absolute perfection and I fell in love bit by bit with each character.
Amanda Ronconi & Jason Clarke did such a fantastic job with the narration and all of the characters had their own voices, and I loved every singe one of them, especially the kids who were just delightful.
