Once Upon a Time there was a rich Duke and a Poor Angel.......
The Duke lives in a big town house in Manhattan, where as the Angel lives in her cousins flat while she is away on an extended vacation, otherwise she would never be able to afford to live in the city.
The Duke and the Angel meet at a masquerade party and sparks fly, they have one fabulous, hot encounter in the library, and they never see each other again.........................or do they?
Sabrina Granger is a freelance journalist looking for her next big break, it comes in spades with a fantastic job offer, she gets to interview Flynn Parker, the new big thing in technology for a company that she is dying to work for, not only is Flynn a brilliant businessman, he is also one hell of a hot MoFo !
Flynn Parker is a self made millionaire, he has the looks, the charm and the money, his day is spent coming up with brilliant ideas, and also trying to look interested when people are trying to sell them theirs, i mean why would he want to invest in a "how's my sexual performance" App for your phone??
With the interview set up Sabina agrees to meet Flynn Parker the day after she has agreed to meet her mystery Hot Duke at a bar as he managed to contact her, but who walks into her line of vision and sits right down next to her..........Oops, now what???
🎧🎧 Narated by the always amazing Dream Team of the sexy voiced queen Andi Arndt and the Sexy Melted Chocolate sounds of Sebastian York, these 2 together could set your grocery lists on fire 🔥🔥

Wow......
This debut book is quite simply beautiful, from the gorgeous cover, to the amazing story, I can't wait to see what she writes next.
If you know me at all then you will know that fantasy books are in my "Hell No" pile, i just can't, i've tried and tried, but the second Magic, or Dragons, or Sorcery is mentioned, i'm calling a taxi 😂
So imagine how happy i was that my Bingo Call this week in my Goodreads group was "Read a book with a main page genre of Magic) 😱😱😱
To say i was horrified is an understatement!
So i'm looking and looking and finding NOTHING, but this book kept popping into my feed and everyone was raving about it, i pulled up my big girl panties and grabbed that sucker the second i saw it was narrated by the amazing Bahni Turpin (Who narrated The Help & Allegedly)
I'm so glad i took the jump as this story was OUTSTANDING!!!
Set in a Western African world, Zélie lives with her brother and father, her mother was slaughtered along with hundreds of others in the Genocide or "The Raid" as it is now called.
The reason for the Genocide? King Saran, a horrid ruthless man who wants to rid the world of magic.
You see Zélie's mother was a Maji (magic person) and she was executed on King Saran's orders.
Zélie is now a Diviner (a maji with no powers), she, and all of the maji left are waiting for the day that her magic will come to her.
Told in 3 different POV's this stunning debut story will have you cheering Zélie on as she makes her way with her brother to bring back magic.
🎧🎧Naration is completely magical, Ms Turpin manages to read all of those complicated African words and brings them to life, it was like a movie playing in my head.

Oh my goodness this book certainly hits you right in the feels!
This is all about the story of Richard and Karina, they were married for a while, but it all kind of went pear-shaped and they split a few years ago, they have a daughter between them, Grace, who is currently at University, and doesn't really have much to do with her father.
Richard is a pianist, a really famous concert pianist, he has played all over the world, and has many fans and admirers, Richard loves this, he loves that fact that people love him, he is quite an arrogant man.
Karina is also a pianist, she prefers Jazz, she gave up her dream as a performer to support Richard in his dream.
The thing is, Richard took advantage of this, while he was away playing with the orchestra, Karina was looking after their new baby, Richard however was looking after his own needs with other women!
Karina couldn't take it anymore, and rightly left him!
Richard is unfortunately diagnosed with ALS, he tries his best to cope with it on his own for a while, but after a strange twist of fate and a wrong number dialled, Karina ends up being his carer.
This book pulls no punches in relation to this awful disease, it starts from the twitching in the muscles, and takes us through every terrible thing that can happen after diagnosis, like the wheelchair, or the fact that your body locks itself, or that you can't swallow, or that you have the option of recording your own voice and "banking" it, because after a while you won't be able to talk / eat / chew anymore.
A big shout out also has to go for the guys who help care for people diagnosed with ALS, they are angels in a time of hell for the person with this awful disease, their time and patience with these people is remarkable.
You may know a little about ALS, like seeing Stephen Hawkins, or you took part in the ice Bucket challenge to raise money for it.
You may have first hand experience of this silent killer, I luckily for one have not, but i sure do send my hugs & prayers to anyone that has.
Not everyone is like Stephen Hawkins, in fact ALS will probably kill within 3 years, it is a devastating disease, and i hope one day that we find a cure, because currently there is NOTHING!
I didn't realise that [a:Lisa Genova|978484|Lisa Genova|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1410537635p2/978484.jpg] was a neuroscientist, but after reading [b:Still Alice|2153405|Still Alice|Lisa Genova|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1236089972s/2153405.jpg|2158906] & this book, it kind of makes sense, she knows exactly what she is talking about, and pulls no punches and rightly makes no apologies for it.
It broke my heart, but i am am so glad i read it
Prepare yourself for this one, it's a tough read
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???!!!!!
14 hours, FOURTEEN HOURS i listened to this, i love the movie, love it, if it is on i have to watch it, and every time i end up in tears.
I was nearly crying with this about 13 hours in, and then the end happened!!
I didn't realise it had been "fluffed up" for tv, i hated this ending, what was the point in any of it ........grrr
