This was an ending!!

I can't say too much as it will be a big spoiler but i did not see a lot of it coming, and i certainly didn't expect the ending!!

I great round up to a brilliant series, if it is something that you are on the fence about reading, suck it up and try it, i have friends that have loved it and some hated it, you never know.

I for one have loved every part of Deanna Madden's story and am sad to see her go, however never say never !!!!

Wow this one was a tough one to read, especially as it was on audio and you can't skip.
The narrator was excellent and depicted a 12 year old girl down to a tee in how she spoke about things.
Gemma (12) has a hard life, she is already being abused by Buddy her mother's boyfriend, so she knows that one day when he meets her after school something is wrong, but he tells her that he has got a job for her, and she thinks this is great, especially when they go to Denny's and she thinks she is going to be a waitress.........that is until he sells her for the night for $100 to Hazen !
Hazen then becomes obsessed with her and winds up kidnapping her and her abuse starts all over again.
