There’s just way too much going on in this series at this point and it’s gone too far away from all the things I loved about the first book and I just can’t bring myself to care anymore. I might go back to this at some point but for now I’m going to put it on pause.

This book had so much pressure on it to be epic and I did really enjoy it. As I’ve found with a lot of this series, there were storylines I liked and ones I didn’t. Overall I loved the way this arc ended and where everyone ended up and it was suitably epic in scope. I am really excited to see where Sanderson takes the series next!

My main issues were around Kaladin’s storyline for most of the book. I thought it was a bit cheesy but it was a pretty minor issue really.

I’ve attempted to read this about 3 times now and every time I’ve just found it so boring so I think I’m finally giving up on this one 😩
