Another buddy read that was abandoned. May return to. 

I may have continued with this one but it was a buddy read and we decided to move on to something else. It felt a little exhausting, honestly.

I estimate I only listened to about ⅓ of this audiobook. Grabbed it from my online library catalogue when I was in the mood for something silly and unchallenging but the narration put me off.

This was a soft DNF that I do plan on returning to, in the future. I was enjoying it but, ultimately, books that I felt more passionate about were prioritised. 

I just wasn’t in the right head space for something that felt so violent and gritty, when I started this. I may return to it next year but I’m not sure. 

Rough estimation of how far I got. I put this audiobook on when I couldn’t sleep, purely because it was seasonal, but ultimately I listened to it on and off and didn’t enjoy what I did hear.

I started this one when I was feeling delicate and didn’t feel comfortable reading my usual genre (horror) but, alas, romance just isn’t for me. It’s more of a soft dnf, I may return to it in the future because the characters were likeable enough.

and don’t want to read sexual assault scenes, even if they’re with demons, for entertainment

. After getting this far and looking up what’s to come, I’ve decided that this book isn’t for me.
