Each chapter moves the story along from the perspective of a different character. It is an interesting way to tell a story and those characters are extremely interesting. 

This takes some rather bizarre turns and uses some bizarre language. 

This isn't ground breaking but it is well written and informative. 

This has everything I like but I didn't like it. 

Much better than the previous two books in the series. I feel like this is missing the seediness that I enjoy so much - but it is still pretty enjoyable. 

Probably a book that should be read instead of listened to. I don't think I ever would have found the time to read it though. I should probably listen to it again. 

Most of these stories are bleak and most of the characters are horrible folks. It was fun spending some time with them. 

Not a lot of sleuthing happens here but following Matthew Scudder through his bar crawls is extremely fascinating.
