I really enjoyed the first half or so of this book. Chapman's writing style at times seemed over the top, but he was telling a fascinating story. As Chapman moves closer and closer to today, the storytelling becomes less coherent and takes some weird detours (Watergate for one). I certainly learned quite a bit from the book, but I wish it had held up throughout.
