A little more light hearted than the rest of the series 

I was hoping to find a series that interested me. I might keep going but this wasn't a good start. 

I didn't understand why the folks in this did what they did. It struck me as being overly written when it came to describing the miserable weather but I didn't sense any depth to the characters. There is also a strange scene with the border patrol that seems completely unreasonable. 

The drug war as seen through various folks involved in it. I didn't care too much about any of the characters but it is an interesting read.
