I convinced myself to finish this book in the hopes that it would get better (I very rarely DNF books), but it unfortunately did not. I didn’t really like the characters or their relationship that much, and some parts grossed me out and made me uncomfortable (why was vomit/vomiting talked about so much??). This book has a lot of good reviews, but it just wasn’t for me. I’ve only ever rated 2 other books this low…

This book shares a lot of similarities with another one of Nina LaCour’s books, We Are Okay, so if you liked one of them, you’ll probably like the other. I really loved both of them! Her writing style is so distinct and I’m obsessed with it.
