Loved the story, but the writing style wasn’t my favorite. 

Shout out to Cat Sebastian for writing We Could Be So Good, thereby introducing me to this amazing book. I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did, especially with how confused I was by the first few dozen pages (Renault’s writing style was a bit daunting at first, but I ended up loving it once I got the hang of it), but I’m so glad I didn’t give up on it. I now need to reread We Could Be So Good, and I would recommend both of these books wholeheartedly. 

The beautiful cover of this book caught my eye, and the story inside ended up being just as lovely. If you’re looking for a book to make you feel hopeful during hard times (or any time), this is a good one. 

I loved the story and the representation (I’m always on the search for good ace rep), it was just really fast paced. I would have loved to get to know these characters better in a longer book. 

I really liked this book, but all of the miscommunication became repetitive and unnecessary after a certain point. 

This book is so good, but so heavy. It took me a while to get through it, but the ending (specifically the last few pages) will definitely stick with me. 

This book was just as emotional as the first. I liked seeing so many characters from the original book, and I really enjoyed how connected all of the characters and events were (often without them even realizing it) but it was also a lot to try to fit into less than 300 pages.
