I simply cant get into the story - I know it’s early on, but I have no interest to keep reading. Nothing against the author or their work, it just isn’t catching my attention right now. 

Look at some point in every dystopian series I end up hitting a low point, it’s just not my genre but I keep trying. 😪

Just not vibing with the writing style honestly, nothing wrong with it just not for me!

As soon as I started reading I lost hope that I’d like it 👀

I just wasn’t really into it / didn’t care enough about the mystery. The fat-shaming of Hazel also bothers me a lot, especially knowing this is a middle-grade book and young people in their prime stages of development are going to be reading this. 

Just not feeling it, don’t wanna make myself read something I’m not into. Still excited to read from Kristina Forest in the future!

Just have no real desire to read it, and I gave away my copy of Of Curses And Kisses so I feel like the decision was already made not to continue, I just didn’t accept it until now 🤷🏻‍♀️
