I really went back and forth on whether to rate this 3 or 4 stars, in the end I went with the higher rating. Now I'll tell you why....Ellie was one hard person to like or relate to, in fact pretty much every character in this book was! But by the end of the book, you can't help but to feel sorry for Ellie and at least understand a little better of why she is the way she is. So even though I continuously thought, "Wow, these people are all assholes!", I realized that it was ok. This was a story about some screwed up people, who had a life time of scars and pain. Now I know Ellie especailly brought a lot of that on herself, but that's ok too. It was a story of pain, choices, consquences, anger, revenge, justification and even a little hope and love. It was original and clever. I also loved how whenever it flashed back to Ellie's past, she always thought of herself as "the girl", I thought it really made it so real to her character, someone that was detached and removed. And it was only 99cents on Barnes and Noble! Well worth the money and I truly look forward to reading the second book when it comes out! Also super excited that it will be a dual point of view book between Camden and Ellie!!!

What the hell!!!!! This book was a freaking roller coaster ride of emotions. I don't know how this is possible, but I truly don't know if I loved it or hated it! I picked 3 stars as the rating because I figured that was in the middle of love and hate.

All I know right now is I just finished it and I'm furious. Seriously pissed. I want to throttle Lexi, Jack, and mostly Bekah. Bekah was the worst person EVER! Her and Jack deserve each other. Jack was infuriating! Does he love her, doesn't he love her....grow a pair Jack and make a flippin decision and stick with it Ahole! And Lexi, her naivety literally knew no bounds. I struggled with feeling sorry for her at times, but then she just kept going back for more and I wanted to shake some sense into her all over again. The rest of the characters, namely Chyna and Ramsey were actually very pleasant, I would like to see more of them.

I would probably be interested in reading the second book in this series. I honestly just hope that Lexi does some serious growing up. I don't know if I can stomach anymore Jack and Lexi back and forth anymore. I think I would actually enjoy seeing her move on and FINALLY get over that loser.

I really enjoyed Blood Warrior. While the theme was pretty familiar to some other books I have read, there was quite a few things that were original and made it a stand out amongst the rest.

I liked all of the characters, they each brought something desirable to the story. Alexa was a great heroine, and I expect to see her just get better in the next book. Jackson was sweet, almost a little too sweet. I really liked him.....but he really doesn't strike me as someone strong enough to be with Alexa. I guess I just expected a little more aggressiveness from a wolf. Kayden was pretty awesome, he had the whole tortured badass thing going for him. I'm sure he will also only get better in the next book. Nelly was an interesting character. I'd definitely like to see more of her and what all her powers can really do.

It was a pretty solid first book, in what I think, will be an interesting series. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Meh. It was alright. I did think that Blaire's family story was interesting. I guess after losing my parent early on from cancer, I can relate to her a little there. She seemed to have at least a little backbone. Rush was...ehhh...ok. I just didn't feel like we got to see too much going on there besides his overwhelming hotness. He spent most of the book behaving like the ever popular jackass Neanderthal, that people seem to love these days. It was all very familiar, it had the same feel as Twilight and Fifty Shades. You know, the brooding bad boy that spends 75% of the story treating the girl like garbage and telling her how shitty of a person he is. Then all of the sudden the aforementioned innocent girl whips out her magical vagina and POOF the bad boy completely changes his roguish ways, confesses his undying love and is an all around Prince Charming. I don't know, maybe I'm just in need of something different. Really though, I think the worst thing was I truly don't even know why Blaire fell in love with Rush in the first place! It seemed totally superficial!! The only thing he had going for him through most of the book was his looks. So whatever. It wasn't a bad book, it just wasn't the best either. I would probably be willing to read the second book and at least give it a chance....maybe it gets better as it goes.

Losing It was a decent book. I think it was a little refreshing to read about a hunky male lead that wasn't a complete ass throughout most of the book. But at the same time, and as much as it pains me to admit to it, maybe the bad boy does make for a more interesting story. I don't know. This book was good, but it wasn't really action packed.

I feel like there wasn't really anything holding Bliss and Garrick back from being together except for Bliss's issues with being a virgin. Really, the whole Cade interference really didn't even hinder anything. It was all very subdued. It was definitely a very realistic book though. I could definitely relate to Bliss, especailly the relationship between her and Cade. And I think that's something brilliant....it may not have been super exciting but it was certainly relatable, at least to me. I would definitely be curious to see what happens in the next book, especailly since it going to be more about Cade. I'll be curious to see how he's dealing with the whole situation and if he truly can move on.

Kiss of Frost did not disappoint. It was fast paced, interesting, and fun to read. I really love the characters and the whole Mythos Academy.

It was great to see Gwen's powers starting to grow. I think she's a pretty awesome heroine and she will probably just keep getting better. Logan really shined towards the end if the book, unfortunately not so much at the beginning .I'm sure things are going to start heating up between him and Gwen real soon. I have to say that Oliver's secret caught me off guard, I didn't see that coming! I hope to see more of him in the next book! I also would like to see more of Daphne....if she can pull her lips off of Carson long enough to kick some reaper ass, that would be incredible. Most of all I hope to see that Fenrir Wolf again, that would be one badass pet!

There were a few twists that I thought were pretty obvious. But honestly, I don't feel like it took much away from the book. It was still a fun read, with at least a couple surprises. I'm looking forward to reading the next book soon.

Beauty Awakened was a pretty good read. I did find Koldo and Nicola's story to be a little slow moving at times though. Koldo was a very closed off person, so it took awhile for me to really get invested in his story. I also found the ending to be a little confusing, I'm not quite sure how Nicola ended up being what she was. I really liked Axel! I'll be looking forward to his book for sure!

That was pretty amazing. Or rather, Cam is pretty amazing! You know you are reading a fantastic book when almost nothing can tear you away from it. I finished Wait For You in less than 24 hours....which really is quite an accomplishment considering the 3, 10 year olds that were running around my house during at least half that time. I just couldn't put it down! I had all these things I planned on accomplishing today, and all of them got pushed aside so I could completely devour this book. While Avery's story was pretty darn sad, it was quite a journey watching her grow throughout the book. And Cam was just incredible from start to finish. The rest of the characters were alright, but they really just paled in comparison to Cam and Avery. I actually heard that this is going to end up a series, and like any other Jennifer Armentrout book I've ever read, I will DEFINITELY be buying that immediately upon its release. In fact, I'm already looking forward to that day!

Oh man. I wanted so badly to like this book. I really like Lauren Hammond. I have read a few of her other books and I enjoyed them immensely! Unfortunately this book just didn't do it for me. I couldn't really connect with any of the characters and the whole love at first sight thing just isn't my cup of tea. It was so hard to keep up with Robin's constantly changing emotions, and whatever she felt she always felt to the extreme. I felt like Robin had the emotional maturity of a 12 year old girl. But I think that someone who is into the insta love and love triangle plot would probably really like this story. It just wasn't something I enjoy.

That was an interesting book. It reminded me a lot of that movie, Final Destination. The first one though, when everything was fresh and surprising and totally original. That's how I felt after reading Brightest Kind of Darkness. It was a super interesting story line, with some pretty interesting characters.

I liked Nara, she seemed like a brave and kind person. I think her family is made up of some colorful people and I think a lot more about them will be revealed in the following books. Ethan was super cool. He was all dark, mysterious and tortured. I really liked that he was really never an ass, he might have been quiet or reserved but he didn't follow the typical male chauvinist bad boy mold that so many books put out there now. He was always sweet, caring and genuine, he just didn't let everyone know it all the time. I can't wait to find out more about what Ethan's powers are and where they come from! He was super interesting and Some of the stuff he saw was chilling. It makes me want to start reading the next book immediately!
