This book was, in my opinion, a solid 3.5 stars but I rounded up because Anya was awesome. I love that she totally stalked Lucien aka Flowers lol. She was smart, funny, sarcastic and a complete bad ass. It was a fun read and I'm looking forward to seeing what befalls the next lord of the underworld.

I am really glad I continued this series. The first few books weren't the best books I have ever read but it truly seems to keep getting better and better. Also I'm kind of a sucker for Greek mythology, it's always been entertaining to me. I am looking forward to starting book four later tonight!

Well that certainly wasn't one of my favorite books in the series. It took me awoke to get through because it never really captured me like the others did. I don't want to blame it all on "Giddeon speak" but that surely didn't help. You know he's the keeper of Lies and can only tell lies so I would read what he said and automatically start deciphering what he was really saying, then once I had it I continued reading where they told me what I had already figured out. Now I'd like to say I stopped myself from repeating that process over and over throughout the whole book but that my friend would be a lie. I also wasn't really a fan of Scarlet. It seemed like she was a walking contradiction, she's the ultimate bad ass chick but damned if she didn't whine and doubt herself throughout the whole book. These just weren't my favorite characters and that paired with the backwards and forwards writing made it not one of my favorite books in the series. Im hoping I enjoy the next book more than I did this one.
