Fine enough but didn’t catch my interest. I think this might be more of a YA novel.

Fun concept about a little known myth, but it got really repetitive really fast. It felt like it was just a series of new people meeting the maids and giving there reactions and not much else.

First half of the book was awesome! Then they got back together and goddamn I wish they hadn’t!

Almost no elektra in this book actually. I think three narrators made the plot rushed and unwieldy. Not as satisfying or engaging as Ariadne unfortunately.

I’m only rating the titular Novella because it’s the only one I finished. Couldn’t get into the other two.
Desiree’s life seems fascinating, but almost 50 pages in and I’m not hooked by this book. Just not what I’m into reading right now I guess.
The first chapter was electrifying, then the next was a long Lost of cleopatras gripes against Antony and I just got bored. Maybe I’ll try again one day.
