The story was very good and interesting.  I was so into it. The problem was Erin, the main character, I couldn't figure out if the author wanted me to be annoyed by her and her choices or if the author meant for me to hate everything she was doing and constantly yell at her.
I guess, in the end, even with her dumb choices and weird moves she made it so there's that.
Over all great plot, shitty main characters.
slow-paced

This book was basically Ann Rules ode to her obsessive, unrequited love for Ted Bundy. In it she lies about her age, "almost 35" Ann really....then claims to be "for the victims"...then says things like  "Killing Ted will accomplish nothing at all; all it would assure is that he could never kill again." That was the finally nail in the ⚰ for me.
This book also DRAGGGGGGSSSSSS. It was like by not killing Ted off in the book she could hold on to him for longer.
I've read other Ann Rule books and can say that she has been a voice for the victim, but in this case, in this book, Ann is using her "connection" to Ted Bundy while letting everyone know she had *those kind* of feelings for him.
I'm honestly not sure how this books gets labeled as so amazing or how it's a definitive work on Ted. It's really terrible.

This book is SO horribly written.  From vajayjay flowers to transphobic statements it was a hard no from me.

I love CJ Tudor and while at first I thought this book was draggy and slow the plot twist at the end got me good. 5 stars. Loved it. Can't wait for more from this amazing author!
