This was the most action packed opening to a Christie book I've read, it was brilliant. I really enjoyed it although the phrase "twinkling eyes" was used a bit to often for my liking.

Brimming with deadly peril & narrow escapes. This is certainly the most fanciful Poirot I've read but it's fast paced & addictive I really enjoyed the ride. I got serious Sherlock & Watson vibes from this one which I really liked.
