Meet twenty-somethings Mackie, Edele, Alex and Nat they are they are almost adults trying to navigate their way through break-ups, death and major life decisions. The struggle is real but it's okay because at least they are in it together... they can make it right?
This novel is like a breathe of fresh air, its real, authentic and relatable. Pantony perfectly captures friendship the strength, the support and the way it anchors you. Edele was my favourite, when she spends the last of her money for the week to fill Nat's fridge was touching. Individually these girls aren't perfect they are flawed, they are insecure and they all have their struggles, but together they are a force to be reckoned with and are all lovable.
It just missed out on five stars because I felt the girls didn't particularly have distinctive voices, compared to each other. Its obviously when the point of view changes as they all clearly have their own stories but the tone is the same throughout.
Overall this story is brimming with laugh-out-loud moments and a few heart-wrenching ones there is never a dull moment. It's a must read for any twenty-something!
