Postscript is a triumph that perfectly captures the marvel that is the human spirit & I'm not sure my review will do this book justice, but here goes...

Holly's world is fully immersive the from where is now to the journey she chooses to undertake with the 'PS I Love You Club'. The characters are wonderfully written, Ahern captures their immense suffering and perfectly combines it with funny, lighthearted moments. There are moments she brings to close to tears only to have you crying with laughter.

Ahern broke my heart and put it back together again, leaving me feeling uplifted and inspired. It is a masterpiece not to be missed, best book of 2019!

For those wondering (like I was) whether the sequel for PS I Love You would be in the same league, put your fears aside and dive into Postscript it is as heart-touching in equal measure - Just don't forget the tissues!

Highly recommend! This novel entwines two stories; an adolescent and her struggles with depression and a mother who is concerned for her daughter. Is she too caring, or not protective enough? Is she paranoid, imagining things or is it a reality? The characters are so relatable you'll find yourself feeling all their emotions whilst desperately hoping everything turns out alright in the end.

This novel is intriguing from the outset Viv and Margo are covered in blood standing over a corpse - immediately I wanted to know the who, what and why? The story goes back to a couple of months before and there are twists and turns but they are predictable, even down to the killers identity. It was well written and the dialogue itself was good but it was a little in credulous in places.
