Hmmm. I probably shouldn't have seen the movie first. The book was really different, not in a bad way, but almost in a less-entertaining way. Still, I wish I had been turned into a witch after being left by a man...

I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan, so Julius Caesar's three stars equates to my actually liking the play. I had to read this because I have to teach it, and I therefore should be able to talk about it with students. I actually came up with some good ideas and ways to help students with the play - so that's a bonus.

This was amazing. Sad and real, with just the right amount of humor mixed in. I am going to use excerpts of this with high school students during a memoir unit.

Probably 3.5 stars.
