I could not put this down. I need to go buy the next two to find out what happens. Even though I thought the writing was mediocre, I found myself highly invested in the story and the characters.

Maybe 3.5 stars. I liked the first book better, but I still thought this was fun to read.

Better than the second book....

Now for the hard part - waiting for the next installment. These characters are very easy to care about, and I really want to know what happens to them.
