"Boys never ever hit girls. Boys are tougher."
Fucking bullshit.
If anyone, the girl should've apologized for being stupid. Maybe Fumi shouldn't have slapped her, but sometimes everyone needs a wake-up-call.
Oh, but then it gets worse: "Girls just... believe they can cry whenever."
Are you fucking kidding me? How many gender stereotypes does the author wanna throw in more??
~
On a positive note, Chiho's stepdad is a house-husband.
Also, glad how casual Shun handled all the paparazzi and being famous thing.

Bruh, what? I was totally thinking to give this 4.5 stars throughout the whole volume, but the ending messed it all up.
1) Fumi is 13. Sakurako is around 30.
That's so wrong and annoying.
Sakurako actually rejected him multiple times which were so nice and satisfying to read, but Fumi's only getting more annoying after that, and has no fucking clue when to shut the hell up.
Chasing after a girl until they say yes because boys can't accept a "no"? Are we really doing this?
2) Mio looked better with long hair.
~
3) The way Sakurako seemed so happy throughout the whole volume... was so refreshing to see. She just seems like she finally found herself. Whether it means she's aro/ace or not, would be cool but doesn't matter really. It's just nice to see when someone's happy with their own company.
1 extra star for that.

I don't like how often the plot is being repeated. Like, Nao keeps saying how much it's her dream to act with Haruka together and Haruka keeps saying how she'll never act again. It's kinda annoying, but at the same time I also get it. Kind of? Sometimes we also repeat things too many times in our heads, either because we hate our decision, or we love it, or we're disappointed...
All I really would like to do, is just to go into the book and make them talk to each other. I completely understand why both sides aren't ready to spill their tea, I've been kinda in both situations myself and know how hard it is. But I also know how bad it ends when you choose not to talk and keep it inside, until time reaches you and the truth somehow comes to light, or you grow apart because the lies built a distance between you...
So, just talk.
Since volume 3 is gonna be the last, I don't think it's gonna be a sad ending, but I really really hope they still get to have a heart-to-heart conversation.
I wouldn't necessarily want for Haruka to start acting again, since that'd be way too rushed, unless the author will do a time-skip, but it's important for both of them to be completely honest. And whatever happened in the past, Haruka needs to come in terms with it and face her fears.

Well, turns out I was right how it'll end but that doesn't entirely make it good.
As mature the author handled themes in the manga, I was hoping for her not to do the typical break up scene, but well. Not a fan, but it does fit with Haruka and I guess there wouldn't really have been a different choice. Okay, well, there always is. I would've liked it much more, if they stayed together and Nao initiated a conversation, perhaps. But, well. Can't change it now.
It just the drama part (dramatic, not the theatre stuff) that I didn't like much, but overall it was good. I did relate to a lot of things though, especially Haruka's side. I also liked the epilogue.
And the full-color is so amazing. Some really nice panels in there.
Spoiler
It was kind of obvious that Haruka would go into acting again, but as I said in vol2, i was hoping not to, unless with a big time-jump. Well, there was a time jump, but not very long. 1 year is way too short, especially because it seemed she got a lead role, so it must mean that she started acting just a few days after she had the talk with Nao...As mature the author handled themes in the manga, I was hoping for her not to do the typical break up scene, but well. Because I'm in the mood to finally start with volume 3, I'll be re-reading the first 2 volumes again!
Do I need to re-read them? Nope. Actually, I know them by heart already.
Will I do so anyways? Absolutely, 'cause this is pure comfort!!
Also, for the actual review: nothing more to say, my first two reviews describe my thoughts on this perfectly. I still get so many butterflies, just seeing them in a room together... <3
And also didn't make the mistake of not eating sth while reading. XD
I wonder, though, does the author like cooking herself or did she look up a bunch of cooking shows/tutorials online, just for this series? Because the amount of detail, not only in the drawings but also the writing is amazing...!

Cooking is how Nomoto de-stresses and this is how I de-stress. Just what I needed right now.
All the food even got my appetite back.
Love those two ladies, and can't wait for volume 3. <3

This is so wholesome!!! <3
I love that Nomoto cooks because she genuinely loves it, not because she was raised to, so that she'll be a great house-wife or something. This issue also comes up pretty early, when a man at work mentions that. I love Nomoto's reaction.
It's also awesome to have a character with bigger body size, who is comfortable in their own body and none of the characters ask if she's planning to go on a diet.
It's such a chill read. But I recommend eating something or having food nearby, otherwise you will get hungry. :D

I don't want to wait that long until I can read volume 3!! They're just too cute!
I don't know. It's kinda interesting, although the idea has been used many times.
The blurb gives the impression that something "out of this world" happens to the childhood friend, when it's just a "little" accident. Okay, falling from a "bridge" of a waterfall isn't something that happens everyday, but considering it's about aliens, you'd expect a bit of a different accident.
Anyway, even if it's a bit of a clickbait, it still is what it says. Although not really the typical aliens you'd think. At least not so far.
The story is pretty straight-forward and seems like it was written for kids. Apart from the horror and dark artstyle, that is. Things are explained a lot and mysteries uncover pretty quickly.
My only mistake was to read this while eating dinner. There's lots of body-gore.
I might continue this, but I'm not very eager. It's pretty clear where the story is going. There's no romance tag, but it definitely is part of it.
I'd rather have the plot about the aliens, than what it is now. But I don't have high hopes. Series like these usually lose themselves in unnecessary drama.

I found this manga from an anime generator website by selecting and excluding genres. I particularly excluded "harem" and "ecchi". And what do I get? A series with harem and ecchi. Are you kidding me?
It might not be a typical harem and also not the motivation, but it still has those elements. Especially because every "magic user" is female and the protagonist is male. Coincidence? I don't think so. Kinda like a mix of "vampeerz" (the ecchi & gore stuff but make it hetero) and "date a live" (the harem with the "machine" girls).
Are these actually aliens making those experiments or is it just a laboratory of perverted men, using "science" to see naked women? Bet it is.
What's also really bothering me, is that the backgrounds look like they're ai generated images. Given it's from 2013, I doubt that's the case, but rather, he used photos and then put a cartoon filter on top as well as a b&w filter, to make it look like it's drawn. But you can't fool an artist.
Look, I get backgrounds can be a pain, especially in manga/anime, but it's even more painful to see those filters. Glad I borrowed this manga from someone, because that would've definitely not been worth the money.

Kazumi just gets more and more disgusting with her obsession over losing her virginity. Why can't the author just write a hentai when he's turned on, instead of including it in this story. So unnecessary and annoying.
Other than that, I like the new character, Kogorou, but I have a feeling that the author will do him dirty. I hope not but the chances sadly aren't high.

Kazumi keeps getting worse.
But Kogorou is nice, I really like him. Him and I would probably be best friends.
I really liked Nanami as well and it's so sad as to what happened to her in the end... :(
