I've mentioned in my review for volume 1 how i hate that it started with heterosexuality being described as "normal", and how the protagonist, Uno-san, continues to feel disgusted by this new type of love she begins to feel for a woman.
As you continue to read, you realize though, that she isn't homophobic but simply in some kind of depression. She doesn't like herself and doesn't think she could ever be loved. She dresses up for men and wants to be loved, but as soon as they confess, she ends up rejecting them, because she doesn't feel the same and lowkey feels disgusted by the possibility of romance and everything that comes with.
So it ain't homophobia, which I'm glad, although the writer could have phrased it better at the beginning. I wonder how many queer readers have dropped the manga, just because the first pages seemed homophobic... I mean, I almost did.
Also, Uno-san more and more feels like she's asexual or somewhere on the ace-spectrum. (E.g.: she was thinking of kissing someone or what it would be like, and she felt disgusted by it. Also: she mentioned that she would want to be with someone forever, but without kissing and everything... so she wondered what that type of love could be described as.)
I kinda doubt the author will include asexuality, but I really hope Uno-san turns out to be ace. That of course won't change whether or not the two women come together; aces can still have romantic relationships.

Okay... so we're getting closer to the possibility of Hinako being ace, but not aro – in fact actually a hopeless romantic, who gets more confident about it each day – and even Asahi could be a possible aro or demiromantic.
I really LOVED the parts where they thought what "love" is and how each character feels something else. Even if they don't turn out be aro or ace, but simply slow with love (which is not bad at all; even alloromantics/-sexuals can have their first relationship with 30), I'll still love how the author explores these feelings.
I also like that Fuuka could finally talk about her feelings.

I think I've watched the trailer for the anime when it came out, and ever since it was lying on my watchlist, but I haven't started it... well, now I wanted to read the manga and voilà. I barely actually remembered the trailer, but still I lowkey imagined the story to be different. Maybe the anime is just different from the manga, or it's just my short-memory...
Well, anyway. I do like it so far and I am going to continue it, but it's not the best. I found the confession a bit too quick, although then again, it makes it also unique and stand out from other yuri stories. And I do like it how "relaxed" they are about it, if that's the right word.
The characters are also nice to read – no one's really annoying, not even the boys. Although I get bad vibes from Yuu's dad.
And while I don't really see much romantic chemistry between our main couple, I do like how it's slowly building up and different from other stories. Instead of getting to know each other first and then confessing + starting dating and everything, it's turned around for them.
I feel like this could've0 been a good way to make Yuu aro or something, but I spoilered myself and it's not gonna happen. Not that I expected much, but it would've been cool, considering she has some "signs". But then again, she's just in highschool and that's pretty young anyway.
Not that anyone can't figure out they're aro at this age, but in my opinion, it's too young to know what romance (or all the other types of love) really is.

Uh... idk. 2,5 stars.
I do like how it’s different from other romance stories and that they’re talking about stuff. And especially that the author is acknowledging all sides (horny and not-ready characters).
Usually in Yuri stories the partner is always very understanding of the “virgin” or the one that just isn’t ready for more stuff. It’s cool that here’s a horny character that says they can wait but actually can’t.
I like the fact that the author is including it, but at the same time I hate it. It reminds me too much of hetero relationships.
I also like how they didn’t just both fell in love at first sight, but are both slowly getting to know the other. They did decide to date pretty quick, but still realized reality is different and relationships are hard.
I do truly love how the author shows how hard it can be to keep a relationship up, and especially that both parties need to equally fight for it. I truly appreciate it.
At the same time, I just don’t like Saeko much and how horny she is. I guess I just prefer a partner that is more understanding about being afraid of the first time... Characters like these are rather annoying, which is one of the reasons I don’t like reading/watching hetero.
I also hate how she never really listens to Miwa. Whenever Miwa is serious and wants to talk about her feelings, Saeko usually cracks a joke or laughs. I get that sometimes it’s awkward when you’re suddenly really deep, but isn’t love supposed to be deep? It’s annoying to read about such a character that can’t talk properly, unless it’s about funny stuff.
I will continue reading bc, like said, I do appreciate how the author writes and what she includes. It just might be a total pain in the ass, since sex is a pretty complex topic that – imo – you shouldn’t joke about.

Welp. I do like Saeko a bit more... she’s slowly (very slowly) growing on me. Might be also bc she finally learned to listen more and they’re closer to each other.
I don’t like how body-centered they are tho, after their first time... like, that’s so hetero, again. Why does it always have to be about sex?!
Forget everything positive I said about Saeko in my volume 2 review... I completely DISLIKE her now. For real.
She doesn’t want being touched (sexually) but pretty much pushed Miwa into being touched herself?? Couldn’t even show some kind of sympathy/empathy and understand that Miwa isn’t ready to be touched?? And even had the audacity to ask what’s so bad about sex?? Dude, you don’t even want someone to do you yourself!!
Geez, people like that are such f*cking a**holes. Treat others how they want but if they get treated like that, they suddenly get emotional or find that it’s not okay. Screw you.

Even though I was rooting for them to break up, the way Saeko broke up was just... f*ck you. I hope they never get back together. And i hope karma gets back to her quickly.
And then Saeko says she just wants to be loved??

2.5
The first half was great! I loved it. I thought this volume would finally get more stars. Like maybe 4 even.
The trip to Shiho was nice and I also loved the chapter where Rika and Miwa talked about romance in public. I also loved that kiss.
But well... the second half... gosh, no.
I really dislike Saeko. It was so nice not having her on the pages when Miwa visited Shiho. So refreshing.
And then she’s back...
At first it was nice how she took care of Miwa. And her food looked delicious.
But the end... ugh nah...
Miwa isn’t any better in the 2nd half tho. Like wtf happened? She can’t be that depressed over what Shiho told her, right?? There must’ve been another thing that happened on her way home.

Oh wow. The first volume that I actually like.
*Spoilers:*
Miwa and Saeko have finally broken up for good. Even though I don’t think they should be friends, but well, at least they’re not sexually involved anymore.
And Miwa got her act back together. I do wanna know why she was that depressed tho, I hope that’ll be revealed someday.
Saeko dating the girl and immediately craving sex reminded me a lot of the first volume and I wanna barf. Her lust for sex is disgusting me, lowkey.
If she’s gonna cry again that nobody loves her, I’m gonna lose it. Gurl can’t love herself, what’s she even wondering about.
Ooh, but I do love the new freshman girl! And the potential romance that could happen with Miwa~
Although I hope they’re gonna take it slow.

Top and bottom labels?? Really??
I already hate those words when reading BL. Now I have to keep up with that in GL too?
