The first 80% of this book had me hooked. I loved having a female mechanic POV. I was less invested in the past lover and the kidnapping and animal experimentation plot lines I lost interest in. I still keep hearing about the slow burn enemies to lovers that happens to the heroine, and enjoy the world building of this series so far.
2.5/5.... so boring, yet I still want to know how this whole shebang is going to end. Baby boy Nikolai was pretty entertaining.
