DADDY ZEUS!! MY KING!!!

A taboo age gap romance that I found great. Loved how caring, loving, and protective Zeus is for Lou, along with his family. Glad I read the series out of order to see them established before going back to their story. I think the author does a really cool thing having the MC world without the hero's in the stories treating their women like lesser equals. I love how much reverence Zeus has for his little warrior.

And the drama was fun too. Along with they sessi scenes. Yay Zeus. Happy for you!

Wow, surprised that this book is so recommended. If you need an entitled "edgy" white cis man telling you how to not care about shit, this may be for you. I found a lot of his "enlightening" discoveries to be pretty big no-brainers. He swears a lot to be relatable, his jokes fall flat and are dull, and after getting through a few of his useless side stories on pandas and whatever else he thought us mere anxious mortals could understand, I gave up on this. Not impressed, would not recommend.

Short and steam post apocalyptic romance. I could do without all the "kitten" and "mew"ing, but enjoyed the characters and plot. Easy to read through.

3.5 stars, re-rating after reading two other books in the series and this one has my favorite pairing by far. Love the slow building of this story between Lila and Nova, and starting from the beginning when they first met, versus flashbacks. Lila is my favorite biker babe of the series, with HR as a close second. I am glad I read this series out of order - I tried reading books 1 & 2 last year and neither worked for me, but after reading about Daddy Zeus in this one I had to go back and try his story again in booked 2, and that was great having the context from this book.

Loved the found family aspect of this book, and the slow burn of this one where we watch both Lila and Nova grow up and into themselves. A bit cheesy at times (declarations of love aren't my thing, but if they're yours you would love this one!)

Would recommend checking out CW and TW before trying the series. (Sex trafficking, murder, blood, guns age gap that could be considered grooming in real life, attempted SA, drugs, parental neglect, death of a loved one.)

A solidly average contemporary romance. Himbo hero, single parent introverted and slightly grumpy heroine. Age gap where she's 40, he's 30. Renaissance Faire was in full effect. Fake dating and pretending to be together. Did appreciate there being talk of no babies and done with the 18 year old going off to college. The age thing started off heavy (all the constant bone cracking and popping, sore body, etc) that faded out as the book progressed.
