I enjoyed reading this from Taryns point of view, and it did make me understand her a bit more. I still dislike her and a lot of this book just felt like her making pointless excuses.

i really enjoyed reading this book. I didn’t expect oak to be part of the bloodline, or for Jude to make Cardan king, or all the bloodshed of the coronation. I was so annoyed with Taryn and Locke in this book.
