The Christmas Collections” By Garrett Leigh

📕 Edition: eBook

🎄✨ A delightful holiday treat, bundling three MM romances into one festive package. 📚🌈

The trio of stories offers a range of emotions, and while all are enjoyable, "Christmas Mountain" stole the show for me. Rami and Fen's tale of love, family, and second chances warmed my heart, making it a perfect yuletide read. 🏞️❤️

"Angels In The City" brings Jonah and Sacha into a fake relationship that evolves beautifully. The office romance, sprinkled with doughnuts and white knights, creates a sweet atmosphere, though it didn't give me the full Christmas vibe I craved. 🍩🌃

"Hometown Christmas" weaves a tale of friendship evolving into love between Yani and Gavin. Fleeing heartbreak in London, their no-strings arrangement takes an unexpected turn. While not my favorite, it adds a touch of sweetness and steaminess to the holiday mix. 🔥🎁

Garrett Leigh's writing is a gift in itself, and the exclusive bonus content for each book adds a cherry on top. 🎁📖

Hemlock” By Kiersten Modglin @kmod

📕 Edition: Audiobook

A gripping combination of romance and thriller. A tale of love, secrets, and a haunting past.

The protagonist, Maggie Ellis, is a compelling character with a past she can't escape. The tension builds as she returns to her hometown, and the atmosphere is thick with suspense. The writing is so vivid that I felt the unsettling sensation along with Maggie—every room held secrets, and I was hooked on the mystery.

The blend of psychological thriller and romantic suspense is seamless, it kept me on the edge of my seat. As Maggie unravels the grim history of her new home, the plot twists hit like a sledgehammer.

Overall, It’s a dark and twisted journey that proves home is not always a sanctuary, but a place where buried secrets can come to light.

Verity” By Colleen Hoover

📕 Edition: Audiobook

Started this one with low expectations, but Hoover totally won me over. 🙌 Once I dove in, I couldn't put it down. Lowen's struggle as a writer, hired to finish Verity's series, takes a dark turn when she stumbles upon Verity's hidden manuscript. 😱 The revelations about that fateful night are bone-chilling, and the tension keeps you on the edge. 📖🔥

The twists and turns are masterfully done, and just when you think you've got it figured out, BAM! The ending hits you like a freight train. 🚂💥 The forbidden romance adds a layer of complexity that's both sexy and twisted. 😍🔄

The Godhead Complex” By James Dashner

📕 Edition: Audiobook

An exhilarating ride through a fractured world of mysteries and moral dilemmas. 🌐 The characters face both human adversaries and the unforgiving forces of nature as they journey to Alaska to confront the Godhead.

I found this sequel more engaging than its predecessor, though the ending left me wanting more—it felt abrupt yet tantalizingly open-ended for the future. 📚

Jay's Gay Agenda” By Jason June

📕 Edition: Audiobook

This was a heartwarming and hilarious journey through the highs and lows of a gay teenager's quest for love. 🏳️‍🌈 Jay's relatable voice and endearing personality made this coming-of-age tale a joy to read. As the only out gay kid in his small town, Jay's move to Seattle opens up a world of possibilities, and the exploration of his Gay Agenda was entertaining.

I will be eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This debut novel is an absolute gem! 💖 This heartwarming story follows Dawn on her quest for queer love, brilliantly intertwined with the pursuit of her filmmaking dreams. 📽️

Walls beautifully captures the essence of friendship and resilience through Dawn's journey, making it a truly touching read.

The characters, especially Dawn, Edie, and Georgia, are so well-developed and relatable for many. 🌟 Their unwavering support for each other is definition of true friendship. The theme of queer love is delicately explored, bringing a fresh perspective to the genre for young adults.

X” By Davey Davis

📕 Edition: Audiobook

I picked this one to complete a reading challenge (a book that starts with “X”), I dove into a dystopian kink world that was way beyond my usual reads. 😱 Dark and undeniably kinky, it's not for the faint of heart. The trigger warnings are crucial here! 🚨

The story follows Lee, a sadist navigating a crumbling world on the hunt for X, a seductive and elusive figure, and leads Lee to some umm “encounters” across NYC. 🏙️

The dystopian setting mirrors a disturbing reality where civil rights constrict, and the government encourages the "exporting" of the undesirable. 😳

This was full of emotions, blending suspense, kink, and social commentary. It's not my usual cup of tea, but the unexpected journey left me questioning societal norms and pondering the complexities of desire in the face of chaos. 🤔
