Thoroughly enjoyed! A fresh and original plot concept (at least compared to most books I come across). Brenna was such a wonderful heroine, I adored her to pieces, her strength and no-nonsense attitude and her quirks were the best.
A creepy ghost story just in time for Halloween! I couldn't put it down and Jo was a truly intriguing heroine, intelligent and brave. The mysteries that run rampant through the pages left me guessing until the very end.
I was really looking forward to this book, it seemed an interesting concept - but it was just very disappointing. Too fast pacing, exposition delivered through awkward and unrealistic dialogue, one dimensional characters, moments that I'd imagine were meant to be comedic but only ever had me rolling my eyes. Cringe-worthy. Would not recommend.
