I don't like disliking books, but the fact this yook me over 2 months to read and it was less than 300 pages says a lot.
The pace of the book was so weird - you get flashbacks and 'current time' and even a fee future glimpses, and yes you have to figure ot what setting you're in while reading.
It also alternates between narrator, I don't get who "I" is, but everynow and again a 1st person reviewer starts narrating. It's very confusing.
I'm aware this is based off of a real tragedy and I've tried to google about it but can't find out much other than don Diegodies at some point, which isn't even really said in the book so that might be why it's lower.
The cover is very pretty though!

A short childrens book about Luca who's a trans girl.
As someone who's trans it resonates a lot with me, would this be me if I had accepting parents?
It's sweet and written in a way that children can identify and understand it, though the storyline does jump a little.
I picked this up on a whim at my local library, and if this is the type of books this generation of kids will grow up with, I'm so happy for that!

Moderate: Suicidal thoughts, Suicide, Transphobia, Outing
Generally, I have liked this serie.
But it would've been way better if it had 50 pages more and it didn't end rather anticlimatic.
I can't say I didn't enjoy reading it, but the trend of not finishing the book properly, "she woke up 2 weeks after *things* happened" just isn't fun to read and ends it on some weird form of blue balls.
