i read the danish version but storygraph didn't let me find it but
the book in itself is not the best? it's a very one sided way of friendships, and the advice is 8/10 times not healthy, especially since kids are the main audience for it
also they butchered pretty much all the characters' personality

it's just bad imo

my first Murakami book
wasn't a very conscious choice as much as me being so socially awkward at the library and browsing a random shelf, saw the book and decided why not read it.
generally I'm not the type of person to think about writing styles and authors, but god I love this writing style.
though I didn't understand much of what happened, I still felt like i understood every word, like this book was written for my perspective.
it's strange and awesome, in fewer words

after reading everything everything i felt like reading this book, i up until this point had only seen the movie so why not read the book?
it was cool, nothing super cool nothing bad
