This book has been calling to me since it was delivered for the Probably Smut Book Club December Blind Date. Every time I looked over for something to read, my eyes would land on it. AND I'M SO MAD IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO READ IT. I devoured it in two days (would have been less but my cold medicine made me sleep).

Bex's strong willed character goes perfectly with the fight against omega stereotype for this book because she finds her pack and probably wouldn't have if she wasn't strong and vocal about her needs. The author creates and describes all the characters (there are MANY MMC) with enough detail for you to remember who each one is by tying in relationships to not just the FMC, but each other as well. I'm on the fence on whether I would have wanted the book to be longer, because the ending could have been longer based on the entire book and the scenes in the ending chapters (trying not to spoil anything), but I understand that that wasn't the point of the book, it just gave the characters more opportunities to show their feelings. I'm very happy to have read this book and I can't wait to read Knot a Chance and Knot My Problem.

This buddy read was a flop. I liked the premise and it could have been good, but the smut and the plot both weren't written well. Wasn't for me.

The important scene of how Vera and Artyom meet didn't really make sense, I couldn't picture in my head what exactly was happening. I get the instalove, kinda. I don't mind reading instalove tropes because you get to the

I'm very impressed with Alexis. This is nearly a 650 page book on kindle and I was pretty much hooked the entire time. I read somewhere that it's tagged as 80% smut and that's the truth. With a why choose, it's really easy to hit a high percentage number of smut/romance, but it felt right, with the book being so long and an omegaverse, it wasn't only smut and there was a lot of growth in the four main characters, Veronica(Vee), Jamie, Anthony, and Brenden.

What is an omegaverse? Alexis goes over the basics at the beginning of the book, making sure their audience understands what they are getting into as it can be a shocker to some.

Starting with Chapter 1, "Someone has to take care of you since you're too busy taking care of everyone else to do it yourself. Make sure you eat a vegetable every once in a while", this immediately kicks in and sets the scene of who Veronica is, if you've ever been an overworked, under cared for person.

I was very worried getting into about how Jamie was perceived. At first, it seems like he is ill or very much younger than the 36 he's claimed to be, but throughout the book Alexis makes it a heartwarming story about a 'sweet, loyal, caring' Jamie that 'takes direction well, but you have to be very clear of he doesn't always get it.'

Brenden is my favorite. I can't get over the cute, sexy, dad that he is and the mass amount of knowledge he has from just living life. And I mean... it doesn't hurt that he has a knot and knots (if you know what I mean - read the damn book).

Now Anthony... He was the one I was on the fence about the entire time. I couldn't figure out if he was pushy in a good way or an inappropriate way. I understand that he's a Beta and needs to try and pave his way into a pack that has two alphas, but sometimes it was almost a step to far... but was it? I don't know, I'm not Vee and by the end of the book, Vee was in love with them, so is it for me to say? He's very much a 'who did this to you' and "I'll throw your bleeding enemies at your feet so you can stomp them into the dirt" which is so hot.

Overall, I'm sold. I'm going to go back and read the 'first' which is Heat Clinic.

"This is the magic I've been searching for."

This story is not long enough and I'm mad about it. I need more Tomas and Caleb like I need breath. The naughty and nice things they say to each other had me squealing and kicking my feet. My favorite part is when Tomas stands up for Caleb, "But he doesn't need you to be his family anymore. He has me now." That's right Tomas! That's right! We can pick our family.

*Second read*
It's so fucking cute. God damn. I need a cleanser from a sad emotional book and this was just the thing. Caleb and Tomas are so beautiful which their unsureness, their newness, their lustfulness. Gosh, I think this will forever be my palette cleanser to get me out of a slump because of their kindness.

I absolutely picked this up from KU because I have loved everything else Harley Laroux has written and this is no different. This was hot and spicy and a fast read. I think it took me... 2 hours with distractions. I loved it. I love anything minotaur and Krampus hit that spot for me.

"Is this the key to making you focus?" he said, his large hand keeping a tight grip on her hair. "Put a cock in your mouth and suddenly you're calm as a dove."

She's a trouble make and he's here to punish her.

"Since the day I met you, you were different. I normally find humans repulsive, but you were... tolerable." Wilder smirked. "Aww, that's the nicest thing you've ever said."

Such a cute and happy couple. Not an enemies to lovers, but a misunderstood pair that were shoved into each other's arms and had to learn about each other. Wilder and Zephyr were endearing and accepting of each other even though both knew pretty much nothing about the other and their lives (which happens when one is a Wishbringer and one is a Human). Very similar to Eldridge's other books, I would have loved longer, more detailed scenes, but it's very cute and very short and has a bunch of happy feels.

I’m Melting (for this book)

Ahhhhh is so much better! I read Scream For Us and liked it, but damn. I love love love the dark and twisted and I need to know more! This is a perfect novella to get me addicted to a full length book.

THE QUOTES!

All the quotes! Letum is beautiful and I cried and just.... ahhhhh "“Your family is here, my love. Say as much or as little as you want.” <----sobbing at this part of the book.

I need more death love interests. All of them. I didn't want this one to end. If you need a great long cry, this is it.

☠️"I wonder what you taste like, my dark storm."
☠️"Your whimpers are like a symphony of angels. What will your screams sound like?"
☠️"Lilith, my night monster, my perfect other, soon, you will be all mine."
☠️"You cannot run from me, because I will catch you. You cannot hide from me, because I will find you. I have smelt your scent, let it linger on my skin, you are imprinted in my memory. You are mine, Lilith. There is nothing you can do to escape me."
☠️"Lilith, Adam’s first wife, was banished from the garden of evil for disobeying the orders of men. Ask who Lilith is, and you will receive a different answer: A she-demon, a spirit that brings death, a creature of the night, the deadly sin of lust, a night monster. But if you ask me of my Lilith? I will tell you that she is everything. Every gust of wind, every fallen leaf, each drop of rain."
☠️"I walk them to the gates of the afterlife, and what happens after is the soul’s choosing.” He nips my finger. “If they believe in heaven and hell, then that is the path the soul will follow. If they believe in nothingness, then eternal slumber awaits. If they believe in reincarnation then you will find them again on this earth, in this lifetime, or the next."
