Content Warning for Fetishization of Gay Relationships

I’m not reading anymore of this series. Watching the two straight female characters imagining their boyfriends in a BL and then admitting that gay men are practically their fetish was too much to handle. Gay men do not exist for straight women’s enjoyment and fetish. And the fact I haven’t heard anyone criticizing this series even once is a red flag for me. I’m so disappointed, will not be ever continuing this series again.

Not continuing the series since there is very Graphic Fetishization of Gay Relationships in the second volume. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but then the two straight female characters imagined their boyfriends in a BL and admitted Gay Men were their fetish. That doesn’t sit right with me at all. If you love this series cool, but at least talk about this and let others know about it before they try to read. I’m so disappointed.

Amazing! I love this one just as much as the others I have previously read. I also love that we finally have a love interest who is curvy and is one of my fave characters. I appreciate that as body diversity is super important and I hope to see more representation as the books go.

Another favourite! This is another of my fave books in the Ice Planet Barbarians series. It features a disabled love interest who is deaf, and what I love most of all is how she was handled. Everyone wanted to and made efforts to make things accessible for her which is something I wish everyone in real life would make efforts to do. Looking forward to the next book!
