Now, this was a more darker read than I thought it was going to be. I thought I was getting into something not quite as dark as I pictured. Thankfully I don’t mind it because I liked this book! I’m very interested to see what happens in the other books. Loved this was Non-Monogamous, keen to see how all their relationships progress as the series goes.
Honestly I have not much else to say since I want to read the others for a full picture. Definitely look into the Content Warnings because this is dark.

This was way more tense, it was atmospheric, the characters were great—this is everything I had hoped it would be. I wish that this was adapted to film or tv, I would watch it! It is a solid horror novel! Absolutely recommend this to any Alien fan, this was awesome!

I did enjoy some parts but overall I didn’t like it. It was very repetitive and very boring. My issues with this series is the way the author wrote the feelings of some characters. This contains the main lead having a crush on her uncle in the first two volumes, while I’m happy that went away it isn’t something I like seeing and it’s always uncomfortable. And also highly unrealistic in the way that it’s handled as if one can’t understand the difference between familial and romantic love. That is something everyone knows. Aside from that, other characters emotions are fine they just stay the same. The only thing that I really loved in this was the artwork, it is gorgeous. I did like some character interactions but as I said they get repetitive. I wouldn’t recommend it or read it again but if you loved it then I’m happy you saw something great in it!
There is a possibility of an Aromantic character from the way she was written but I can’t be certain. I’m not Aro so best listen to Aro readers that have read this before.

So far it is just okay. Have to read the rest to figure out how I will like it.
Also note: This is one of those Shojo Manga that portrays the main girl as having a crush on a family member. I really don’t like it when it appears, however, really happy that a character had some sense to say something to the main girl that it’s not right to do that. A lot of the times it is just never done that way and at its worst can often be romanticized. Glad that is not the case here, I’m hoping that the rest of the volumes do not include more.
Update: This behaviour stops in the next volume thankfully. Just letting anyone know if you want to make the choice to read it or not.
Moderate: Grief, Death of parent
