Unexpectedly had some Fictional stories thrown in and I thought it was all strictly nonfiction until that point. Which isn’t bad but I’m not in the mood for this.

Too long of an endeavour for me right now, focusing on my other reads

21 pages in and there’s gendered language that slips into transphobia (saying only women have periods and that men only have testosterone), implying that medication stops your magical growth, and saying humans are not responsible for the acceleration of global warming…at that point you lose my ability to take anything you say seriously. There’s many other books to try but I won’t give this book another chance unless she changes it.

Had to return it to the library 

Had to take it back to the library because I couldn’t renew it due to others in line 😭 Going to put it back on hold to start it again

I refuse to subject myself to this further. It’s so terrible. I don’t recommend, it’s way worse than Dracula which says a lot considering it has its own problematic themes that remained beyond this version. Just stay with Dracula, or don’t. Do whatever you please. I cannot stand this book any longer I abandon it forever 😭🙌🏻
