I absolutely love diving back into this story.

Sadly this volume didn't grab me as much as the past ones. The reason for that might be that it mainly just set the stafe to start the new arc. The stories weren't bad but because the villains were all different and had no common purpose it felt more like multiple different stories that are only slightly connected. I'm glad the new arc is now here and that we have a propper vo
Illain for the next volume. Can't wait to contine.

Yesterday I was craving a shifter / werewolf story and I decided to go with this one. I've read the first book of this series in the past and somehow knew what I could expect.

I really liked the main plot of the story. I mean it was kinda love to hate and they were meant to be mates. True mates infact.
I liked seeing how they acted around each other and how things unfolded. I actually was pretty happy with the first part of the book... up until the rape (not sure if it counts as one when the other actually wanted it too and the 'attacker' lost control). After that I felt like the story kinda lost itself. There were some points that I felt were unresolved in the end too.... sure it was a happy end but... it felt a bit flat and disapointing to me.

In short, it started off pretty strong but then I kinda felt let down by it. Nevertheless m, I give this book 3 stars

I'd wish I could say I'd liked this book. It wasn't bad but it also never really grabbed me. The main premis of the story was really cool and the characters are very likable in this book. I feel like the second book will be better. Especially with that reveal in the end and because our group has to come back together again.
