Kaz Brekker = a reason we love bad boys

“What happened to the little blond girls who used to run around this place?”
Mummy sighs. “We grew up, Dad,” she says. “We grew up.”

I had myself set on rating this a 3 or a 4 because I didn't see the point of the story and because it was a little confusing but getting to the end...I had no words

One sentence just literally broke my heart and I didn't expect anything like that to happen. This is a classic book about friendship, loyalty, love and family.

It hit me close to home and was the perfect story just after losing certain friends of mine and the liars will always be remembered in my heart. The fire and how the liars were still there somehow in 'spirit' i guess symbolized how she was moving on and getting over the tragedy.

I absolutely loved the characters by the end of the story and this is just one of the books that you have to get to the end to really appreciate it.

“what if
we could somehow stop being
the Beautiful Sinclair Family and just be a family?”

Always be a little kinder than you have to.

Calling all performing arts and fine arts reader, that are also hopeless romantics . . .

This is the wattpad book for you. ;)

This is the wattpad book that introduced me to stories that do not necessarily get the ending that they hope for. It was an amazing experience.

"I’m going to tell you the amazing story of us."

-Liam Stewart

This was way too good to only get 4 stars from me.

I kept putting off finishing this book because it was getting too good and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED. This was all deep, full of suspense, drama, romance, friendship, family, fantasy, LIKE. WOAH.

To readers who have already read this book:
Spoiler The kinds of stories wherein people get their memories erased and such have always been my weakness in loving stories. I just cannot handle that fact because memories are just too precious. The ending of this was just not something I can handle I am telling you already.
My god I want a friendship as strong as Ruby, Chubs and Liam. And I think that really is my summary of this book.
SpoilerI was crying too much by the end to even focus.

THIS BOOK WAS JUST UH-MAH-ZING!!! UGHH IM SO HYPED.

this review is messed up because I'm messed up right now thanks to this book, but you know. . .

Full Review: [coming soon]

"Truth is beautiful, no matter what that truth is. Even if it’s scary or bad. It is beauty simply because it’s true. And truth is bright. Truth makes you more you."

This is a good book.

It changed my view on people, especially teenagers and I am just in awe of the writing style. Though I don't actually ship Sky and Laure (which is very very sad) and I didn't really like Sky's character that much. Laurel's relationship with May was just amazing, heartfelt and this books just something I can relate to and I know a lot of readers will too.

"keep adding to your life - a little bit this, a little bit that,"

I didn't know what to feel about this book at first, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It made me feel giddy and nervous at the same time and that's really rare for me.

I like the family aspect of the book because not a lot of YA books do that nowadays. The book is focused on both the teen individual's life and the family in general. The plot is something that I know a low of teenagers who are going through the same thing would be able to relate to.

There are certain things about the 'love story' that I still find too cliche but even I have to admit that it was pretty cute and again, still managed to make me feel giddy.

This was so mysterious.

"but dont go with hate in your heart"

"Wishing made it a sure thing though."
"But who wants a sure thing? Life is about gambles,"

well that felt like a really long read. . .

this book !!!!!!!!

it had such a unique plot, a unique world, and I am in love with the writing style of the whole book. The history narrations of some characters was a creative addition to this already wonderful story, it made everything much easier to understand and kept up the unique twists of the book. The characters were very easy to relate to and every single one of the characters was given just the right amount of depth, whether they be in the story for a few pages or for the majority of the book. I loved seeing them grow and change.

this is a wonderful coming of age book that I am sure a lot of teenagers can relate to (particularly, older ones). The moral of the story in general is something that everyone should learn and read about. The story is practically about finding yourself, it teaches you that it's okay if you don't know what's going to happen because that is what life is about, it's okay not to be perfect. And what really stood out to me is how to still believe in the magic that the world has, but to not let it control you and to see what is beyond that magic.

"maybe we destroy our own lives"

wishing here means so much more if you relate it to real life and I can really see this book being a classic for me, personally.

"Mayor Fontaine is awful and terrifying. But like the rest of us, he's human too."

this was not cliche in any means of the word and I am just left in awe at how amazing this was. It got me hooked so bad that I did not even want to finish this book too quickly.

just go where life takes you.

"being extraordinary is overrated."
