To be honest, I liked the first short story more, I got pretty bored with this one. But it did kind of give me Infernal Devices ish vibes in particular but I just didn't really feel the plot for this one. Again, I just like how we're given more of a look inside the inner workings Magnus' head hehe

I'm really enjoying the music at the beginning of the audiobooks in this series.

"Magnus could not say Edmund Herondale was wrong to seize love when he had found it, he could say Nephilim law was wrong for making him choose."

OMG I LOVED THIS ONE!! This was the closest to the shadowhunter vibe that I have read from this collection so far AND I JUST LOVED IT. I got my first hit of nostalgia that CC just loves to do with her books.

And also: I LOVEEE THE VOICE ACTOR OMY

I enjoyed this a lot especially since I've always loved Raphael and his backstory just made me love him even more.

I really liked this story about magnus and camille. It gave me more of a background and understanding to their... errr... relationship. :)

Do I love Malec? Or do I love Malec a lot?

No one can convince me otherwise.

This was honestly just such a pure read. I loved this look on their relationship and for a short plot I was really enjoying myself.

Another heart-warming look on Malec and... I am living for it

“I’m…getting there. I’m beginning to think that maybe it’s okay to be a blank canvas. Maybe it’s okay that my future is unknown. And maybe,” I say with another smile, “it’s okay to be inspired by the people who do know their future.”
“It goes both ways, you know.”
I link his icicle fingers through mine. “What does?”
“Artists are inspired by blank canvases.”

This was definitely my favorite book out of the whole series. The ending left me wanting more.

The character development of both Josh and Isla was clearly seen. Josh became more perceptible and Isla became more sensitive to Josh, not to bring herself down and bring others around her down in the process as well.

Sometimes, people and friends just have an undeniable chemistry and I love how all the three stories connected to each other because it just left me wanting more.

I found myself silently screaming and rolling around my bed in multiple scenes and I was taken by surprise on how much I ended up liking this book. This is a good cliche book that doesn't feel cliche at all.
