dark mysterious medium-paced

I wish I reread The Kind Worth Killing before jumping into this but I still enjoyed it. I love the darkness and the dynamic between Joan and Richard. I just wish for a little more depth. Hard to say without spoiling the book. Overall, I would recommend this duology (:

Plot or Character Driven: Character

I went into this with the expectation that I will be bored because it’s not a genre that I’m used to reading but I was wrong. I hate to say that I enjoyed this book because it is heartbreaking. From the beginning till the end, my heart was aching. Highly recommended.
funny mysterious

I really did enjoy this even though some plot holes and scenes took down a star or two. Looking forward to try the next book.

Ms Freida really knows how to punch you with them plot twists isn't it? I read this is roughly one sitting (well, two 1.5 hour train rides lol) and I did not regret my choice at all. Entertaining as always and even though I had some guesses, I was punched in the face with some unexpected events. I'm a sucker for an epilogue and I enjoyed this one.

I don’t know what to say other than this book warms my heart like a good hot chocolate drink.

I am struggling to say whether I love it or hate it. It was definitely gripping, I’d say that. But what the actual fuck, Simon. Ugh makes me so so angry.

This was quite a joy to read eventhough at some point I’ve forgotten that there’s supposed to be romance 😂 I enjoyed the mix genres and even though it’s not an earth-shattering read for me, I had fun and I think that’s all that counts 💕

Oh wow this book really took me by surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect and I loved it! Also love a main character that doesn’t annoy me, almost rare in thrillers 😂
