Magical.
Stephanie Perkins writes in that way that makes you feel everything. While reading this one, I went through the whole spectrum of emotions, and I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next.
It wasn't as good as Anna. I will say that. But I still loved it.
Lola was annoying in places, yet somehow that made her a more believable and relatable character.
Now Cricket. He was perfect. Why is every perfect guy fictional? It's just not fairrrrrr.
Stephanie builds the characters of everyone mentioned in this book; no one is left with half a character. The result is an atmospheric, realistic story with loveable and hate-able characters all round. A good mix.
It makes me sad that Stephanie Perkins has only written 3 books, because I know that I am now over halfway through all her works. Her books are an instant pick-me-up, a reliable solution to a bad day. Her characters are friends who stay with you and teach you lessons about life, being motivational reasons to try something new.
I can't wait for Isla now.

Marissa Meyer strikes again. And again, it is totally awesome.
This novel is 550 pages of pure gold.
It carries on the story of the Lunar Chronicles perfectly, with many plot twists and interesting events throughout. We are introduced to some new characters who are just as loveable as the originals.
I'm constantly amazed at Meyer's capability of building such a complex world that is so understandable to her readers. And her characters are just the best.
If you asked me to pick a favourite character, I honestly would not be able to. Meyer has created so many individual people in this story, all with their own personalities and thoughts and feelings and yet I love every one of them to bits (except for the bad guys, of course).
I'm really very excited about Winter.

I loved this book, it made me happy.
It reminded me a whole lot of Fangirl, which also made me very happy. But it wasn't quite done as well as Fangirl.
This book made me laugh, made me smile, and I was absolutely gutted when I reached the end of the book only to find that all those extra pages at the back of the book were just a preview for the next one and not another chapter... I wanted more!
So I've been reading quite a few serious/adventure books for a while now, and I felt like I needed a change in genre which is why I picked up this one. And it did not disappoint.
I stayed up late a few times with this book (that's not a normal thing for me, I like my sleep a lot and only if a book's good can I read it when I'm tired) and I skipped an afternoon of revision for this book.
Anna was a relatable character, a true to life teenager. I loved the interactions between the group of friends because they all worked so well together. Everyone stayed true to character.
And now I want to try french macarons! This book has taught me a lot about France.
Overall, a really good book for people who need a quick, lighthearted, funny, romantic read.

I loved it!!
I actually enjoyed this one better than Warcross. It just felt like it flowed easier.
But still, not Marie Lu's best book. Not anywhere near as good as the Legend Trilogy.
This story was jam-packed full of excitement, lovely characters, plot twists, and tension. It was so easy to read, and very addictive. I'm kind of sad that this little series is only a duology - I previously thought it was a trilogy. Now I've finished the second book, and effectively the whole story, it just feels like it's too soon to be leaving all these characters I've just got to know properly.
Honestly, I feel like Lu designed this story so it could easily be adapted into a movie. If these books aren't made into movies sometime soon, I'm going to be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book (is that morbid?)
I have to admit, I didn't guess the ending. But that was good, since I was in constant suspense all the way through the story. I didn't know whose point of view to believe, so I didn't fully believe any of them, which made things so interesting. The four main characters are really well built and developed throughout the story.
Easy to read, fast paced, tense and exciting- I'd definitely recommend this book. I think I will read her next book too.
