This book actually made me laugh out loud in public. It has to have been one of the funniest books I've ever read. I learnt stuff from this book too! And also have a larger list of "Movies to watch". For a book about someone who finds it difficult to feel emotion, it was an emotional book.
the characters were great, there was so much character development. the storyline was cool, with a plot twist at the end. the voice of the book was deadpan but hilarious.
I really enjoyed it.

This book was amazing!
It doesn't really look too much like my type of book, and the only reason I read it was because I read Counting By 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan and I loved that too.
But wow, it is so much more than a romance for teens.
I love the way Holly Goldberg Sloan writes. She doesn't just give you the main character's viewpoint, or even just 2 main characters' viewpoints.
She gives you everyone's viewpoint.
It had so many lessons in it. It covered people with learning disabilities, maniacs, nurses, competitive people, old people, young people, everyone.
She writes mostly about emotions, feelings of the characters and it is so real.
It was a happy book, and that was nice and easy to read.
I would definitely recommend this book.

This book was incredible! the whole trilogy was amazing, and I'm sure I'm going to be recommending it to everyone from now on.
I'd never read anything by Patrick Ness before, but he is a brilliant author. At first I found his way of writing confusing, but when I got used to it it was exciting and fast to read.
This book was full of plot twists, some I could predict, others which surprised me completely. This one did get a little difficult to read at times, because of the frequently changing POVs, but that made it even more fast paced and hard to put down.

I don't think this book was as good as the first one, it didn't have so much hope and therefore was not as gripping. but it still had that something that made me unable to stop reading once I started. I laughed, I cried, it was very good. It was interesting to see the book written in a different way, with alternating POVs. I think it made Todd lose his originality a little, but not completely. I really felt for the characters, almost felt how they were feeling. it was great and I would definitely recommend

I loved this book! In some ways I hated the bad language but in other ways I understood it, it showed what sort of lives the characters had. But, I still don't agree with strong swearing in books.
In some ways this book took its time to get anywhere, but I still loved all the background stories. I found I could hardly get on and do anything until I finished this book.
I loved the way it was written. I loved the describing style, and the way you were switched between characters. Unlike other books I've read which were also written from different viewpoints, you could really see the difference between boy and girl, and you could completely understand the thought process of the characters. (although I did think that Lucy's obsession with Shadow was a little weird, but all on all I loved Lucy, she made me laugh out loud).
I felt so much for the characters! They are so real, I could feel how they were thinking.

I really liked this book! There were some parts that didn't make sense or were a little weak, but it was really good! It's a horrible concept, that men die when they reach 25 and women at 20, it's something I hadn't imagined before, and I love reading different types of stories.
It was quite a slow book, but I enjoyed that. Some young adult books I've read have been so tense that it's tiring even just to read. This book was so calm, and for some unknown reason I found it addicting. Once I started to read, I just didn't have any thoughts of stopping (until life comes and rudely interrupts).
I loved all the characters, they were all so deeply developed and real.
Over all, I think it was a great book!

really good book, so intense all the way through. there was moments when I was genuinely scared haha. my only problem with the book was the ending, because it was way too fast. I mean, this book is the end of a trilogy, by this point you've really got to know the characters really well, and then you don't even find out what happened to them, really. I would love it if Teri Terry wrote another chapter of like 20 years in the future, so you could see what happened to England, what happened to Hope etc. the ending of the book was rushed, and not really thought-through. But everything else, I loved!!

very interesting. to be honest I would actually give this a 3.5, but it was too good to round down so I rounded it up. at first I thought that I wouldn't enjoy it, because it seemed to be written very much like a children's book. but as it went on, I found that I was eager to find out what would happen, even though it wasn't intense. it was a thoughtful book and I think that's why I liked it.
