First of all I am a sucker for books that is one fantasy and two has some royalty in it. Which, brings me to why I was drawn to The Merciful Crow.
I thought the world building was unique. The castes were different from anything I’ve read before, however they confused me a bit. There were times I got lost in what was happening, which is why I think the book was okay.
The writing was done well and it was interesting.

I have been in a huge chick-lit, rom-com novels kick lately.
Fix Her Up was cute and refreshing. The ending left me wanting more and I’m excited that there will be a sequel with a character that was a side character in the book.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy with this book was some of the dialogue that was Travis’.
Overall it was good.

Miracle Creek was a great court room/thriller drama of trying to figure out who done it. I really loved the ties to disabilities since I work with the special needs population. There were things I did not see coming and was very interesting.
