This book spins a dense, rich world that intoxicated me. I loved how human and real the characters felt; each one reads as a whole person trying to do their best with the hand they’ve been dealt.

If I could change one thing, I would want a first name identifying header - “Miryem” - to start each passage where the point of view shifted, because those were a little hard to keep track of until I got the hang of it and learned the characters thoroughly.

This book is full of experiences that I can’t relate to directly from my own life, but it doesn’t matter because Irby writes everything in such a relatable way. Hilarious and perfect.
