I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. I love/hate this book.
I picked this book up in the store because it gave me this summer-ish vibe because of the color. I thought this is going to be a sappy, cute, light story. DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY IT'S COVER. It is not at all that. I read the back and although it was very different it was what made me buy the book. I was emmediately captivated by the writing and David.
What I LOVED about this book:
David, how well written and well described his thoughts and actions are, how deeply you get to know him. I really like how in the beginning he hasn't been labelled and near the end you get an explanation as to why David is who he is and how he acts. If you hadn't figured it out yourself that it is. David's character is so realistic and pretty familiar with someone I know. I think that's what grabbed me so much.
What I hated about this book is also that it is so realistic. So realistic in how cruel people can be without any reason and how cruel just life can be sometimes. And that there is nothing to do about it because time doesn't stop for anyone. I did not hate anything in this book in a way that I didn't like the story. It just made me hate the cruel people in it and their acttions and words. I also loved the cruelty because it's so real and it's the truth. I really appreciate it when people aren't afraid to write down the truth.
Also, I get that some people don't like how Kit acted the way she did in the end. But I think it's nderstandable that it can be difficult to understand David because of the difficulties he has. But she was willing to still be with him and at least try to understand him better. And not everyone is that strong. I think it really shows how much she cares about David and appreciates that he is in her life.
I am a little indifferent about the ending though, it is really sweet and it gave me this 'ahww' feeling but, I would have loved to read them going to prom.
I'm sorry if there are any spelling errors!

I went into this book with high expectations..
and I wasn't let down.
My all time favorite disney film will always be Beauty and the beast, that's why I was so excited for this book! But, it wasn't like beauty and the beast as much as I expected it would. It is so much more.
First of all the writing was beautifully done in my opinion. I got swept away by the magic and the beautiful world! All the history about the worlds and the hstory between the humans and the faeries was so intriguing.
And the characters...oh my
I was afraid I wouldn't love Feyre as much as I wanted to but I did. I admire her character so much. Her strength is desirable. The way she developed as a strong girl into an even stronger woman was such an amazing thing to read and go through with her.
Tamlin
this man, or beast, whatevere you'd like to call him. I mean...can I have some water please? I don't think I should continue on him because it would get a little bit 'rated R'
Luchien...I adore this beautiful creature and whish hell upon anyone who hurts this precious being.
Throughout this book, I found myself waiting. Waiting on this so called Rhysand who stole the hearts of many readers. Then I found him and I didn't understand why everyone was getting so thirsty over him. And then, I stumbled upon chapter 37. And I was like: https://thumbs.gfycat.com/WellwornDisloyalArcticfox-small.gif
And then he did that thing in chapter 40 that made me go:

And then chapter 42 happened. In which he wrecked my ship.
and I wasn't let down.
