finally finished this!

i truly love this universe and this book perfectly balanced tying off the duology with a neat little ribbon, as well as leaving the floor open for (possible) further series?!

that said, it did feel unnecessarily long, a good chunk of this could have been cut out or at least shortened, i love you leigh but 588 pages is a bit much

overall the storyline was very good and i definitely felt every possible emotion during this🥲

also has a kaz and an inej cameo so bonus points there

The sense of accomplishment I achieved from turning the final page of this book is like nothing I've ever experienced before...

started an audiobook of this last night when i couldn’t sleep expecting to fall asleep to it- instead i had to turn it off and finish it this morning as found it too interesting! i don’t know how this managed to make me feel like i understood (or was at least excited about) elements of physics but i feel smarter and so motivated to read similar scientific books, i also like how he never tries to prove or dismiss anything, even religion, instead just shows developments in the theories.
also the reader made the book even more accessible than it already was, very clear and kept my attention even though it was 3am!! definitely recommend audiobooking it if you, like me, hate physics or are worried about not understanding it

obviously loved this for the escapism but as far as riordanverse books go it really wasn’t anything special,  the plot was slightly messy and parts of it should have been tied up in heroes of olympus
*cough cough leo valdez*!!!
narrating the whole book from apollos perspective is pretty bold too and his arrogance is definitely annoying at times (though i feel like id love it if i was younger). overall though it’s a good little book redeemed by
solangelo
and my existing love of the series and i feel like it can only get better
