I was not a fan of Malorie in the first book and she isn't any better in this one even though it takes place A DECADE LATER! She has 0 growth and yeah I know it's the end of the world but .... I would still expect there to be some change, some growth, something but this woman is 100% stuck in the same emotional state she was throughout book one.
